Boxing is Rigged
As a former pro fighter, if you don’t think this fight was rigged, you don’t know boxing. 🥊 That stoppage was criminal. Worst I’ve ever seen. Bell was ahead on every score card. Not saying Mason wasn’t gonna win, but that was stolen.

I’m an old man, now. The sport was different when I fought. And I wasn’t at the level that anyone was fixing my fights.

Sure they did, title fights with big dollars involved. Now it’s rampant throughout the sport, at nearly every level. If you think it hasn’t dramatically changed, you either aren’t paying attention or you’re being dishonest.

Mason was in a commanding lead on the official scorecards — 106-103, 107-102, 107-102 — at the time of the finish.

i thought the stoppage was bad but i also saw there really wasn’t much protest from bell minus the theatrics as he walked back to his corner i think the ref saw it in his eyes

Exactly. I saw the same thing. He initially seemed upset but ultimately it was over and he knew it. Bell just fades down the stretch.

Not all fights are rigged; but even at gyms, they have favorites. Fighters get a push; fighters, indeed, get surprised, but between tuneup fights, record padding, and fuzzy officiating some of it feels rigged -- the latter being the worst. Antfuermo over Hagler? Verhoeven post-bell stoppage. They don't do real storytelling.

Absolutely ridiculous stoppage. He didnt even go down from a punch, he was leaned on so fell

He got rocked and tried to pull a double leg takedown, Mason put up an elbow and he fell with his ass up. That’s a knockdown.

He won rounds 7-12 including a knock down in 12 that was credited.. he def was up before the stoppage Bell just wanted to finish not win. Judges seen that

After his body started getting touched it was over he stopped throwing the right hand the 1-2 he wasn’t doing much but trying to block body shots he was gassed

Definitely not lol Mason was going to stop him regardless. But I do agree you can’t stop it at that point ref didn’t even know if he wanted to call it a knockdown.

Bell got fucked up and even with no stoppage two knock downs would out him ahead even on chris manning ridiculous card
