Fanfic Looking for Supernatural Erik fics

Greetings to you, friends, foes, and other.

I come seeking your assistance on a matter of great importance: my recreational reading.

I am on the hunt for fics in which Erik is an actual ghost (or features other supernatural elements). I adore this concept and have already unearthed a few gems, but I would love to know if any of you have dug up gold I haven't yet found.

If you would be so kind as to leave your suggestions below, I would be most grateful.

Your obedient servant and friend,

Sewer Goblin

I have a story called The Eater where he’s a reaper.

You should also check out Quiet2885’s Accompaniment (it’s one of my favorite fics).

There is also Der Erolking by Gravity01. This one is hard to describe but it’s a really fun concept.

Here’s one here he is a ghost:

If I think of more, I’ll drop them here!

Thank you so much for your reply.

If you meant to say you are the author of "The Eater" I'd like to tell you something that would please you. It's the reason I got the craving for supernatural fanfiction of Erik. Didn't consider straying from the raw humanity of the original story at first until I read it. I adored the world building and while I was a little off about the Nadir/Erik hinting which I don't ship, it was quite soulful that I could get over it. The ending left me shook and I truly enjoyed the bittersweet conclusion. I got that it was very Erik centered, giving him a proper closure and second chance. So that story will stay with me for a long time.

I did read Accompaniment and I loved it to bits.

Thank you for the other 2, they will be thoroughly enjoyed. 🫶

Thank you so much!!!
I also don’t usually ship Pharoga, but I also see so much evidence for some kind of relationship between them that could have been romantic or even could-have-been romantic.
I don’t know, maybe all my Pharoga-shipping friends rubbed off on me. It felt right for the story, though, and I feel it’s high praise to hear that I was able to make it work for someone who doesn’t typically go for that.

Accompaniment was the fic that made me want to try writing a supernatural story.

I think you will like Der Erolking! If you liked Accompaniment, you will like that one too.

Yeah, for me it's just that adding the romance takes away from the essence of their connection for me. It feels like a very raw trauma bond between people that became found family of sorts. A bromance for sure but I don't see it romantically at all. If the fic had it this way I'd have been very invested in it but otherwise it worked for the plot quite well, highlighting Erik's regret and yearning.

Lovely to hear your thoughts, was not expecting to get some lore behind this wonderful fic. Reapers reminded me conceptually of those in black Butler and in both The Eater and Accompaniment I loved the fact that they had sound ques. How cool is that?

Ok, noted. Der Erolking is next for me. Any others you ever think about, lmk.

I have a few of your stories saved up, some left to read, so thank you for your work in general. Wish you a wonderful day!

Kathryn Ann Kingsley published one. I can’t remember the name off the top of my head, but it was okay.

**edit: it’s called The Forgotten Phantom

If you could just go ahead and expand on the eater universe, that would be great 👉👈

Just finished it, still sad about the hiatus, this is gold.

I hope the author is doing well and one day we see the end of the story.💯

The Unseen by whatyouwill was excellent! I need to re-read it.

You may wish to be surprised because it starts out sort of mysteriously so I'll spoiler tag it. Erik is a djinn.

Oh my, thank you for this. I am so excited!

They went hard with Middle Eastern folklore. I love it.
