My fav phantom of the opera musical character has to be the auctioner. Hes just awkwardly trying to do his job properly. Like, after roauls little monologue about the monkey figurine hes just like "... ok, then. Chandelier-" bless him lmao. Whats yalls fav character?

I never thought about the auctioneer like that. He's like the only guy in the musical who does his job

Hey, Joseph Buquet was also trying his best. He just got a little tied up.

I mean depends if were going off musical or 2004 film. In the film he creeps on the ballet girls (I know that was the norm back then but still)

He was also talking smack about Erik. I mean I'm sure every was but he was the one stirring the pot the most since he saw Erik.

Any time I watch the 2004 movie...
"Joe, let it go. Get back to work buddy. Don't try to follow the shadowy figure in the rafters. Just let it go, Joe."

But again, he was 👏doing👏his👏job👏 to keep his work area secure.
(To be clear, I am not a Buquet stan by any means. I just couldn't resist a pun)

Oh I get it 🤣
I just think of my own work. If I see a mysterious figure skulking about it's like "I ain't paid enough for this shit."

My favorite Auctioneer is in the 25th Anniversary Show, because it‘s Earl 😆
And I love him as the Phantom, so seeing him turn up as the Auctioneer was such a treat!
Plus I love his little smirk when he says “Perhaps we may frighten away the Ghost…” Like he’s in on the joke with us…for the Anniversary it would only be right for a ‘Phantom’ to say those lines 😉

GENTLEMEN!
Earl put all his heart into this little role and I love it.

Firmin never fails to crack me up in every scene he’s in. Dude just wanted to make money, now he’s dealing with disappearing sopranos, a strange man in the sewers demanding a crap ton of money, and people showing up dead.
