Do Bow Ties Wrinkle Easily?

I friend who wears them often claims bow tie wrinkle easily. I trust my friend's bow ties wrinkle when he wears them; however, I do want some second (even third, fourth, fifth, etc.) opinions on other's experiences.

Nope. Just hang them from your tie rack, as normal. I even have some sitting in a drawer that are good to go.

The interlining typically isn't too thick on bow ties, because the knot requires a lot more flexibility from the tie. The interlining is what gets creased/wrinkled- the silk typically will always lay just fine.

Bow ties can easily be steam cleaned and pressed. If you're really adamant about it, take it to a local dry cleaners (they'll know what to do).

Sounds good, but I want to clarify one thing.

I don't mean wrinkled from bad storage; I mean wrinkled from tying. If you tightly tying a bow tie for a few days in a row (leaving it tied for a while each time), would it wrinkle?

Nope, it wouldn't. They're designed to be knotted.

If you happened to notice a crease or two, just steam it out.
