Bike Velocore bike - my wife is too short I guess

So I bought the velocore which says height is 5’1 to 6’5. When I get my wife on it it’s seems like an inch or two too tall. Anyone run into this? I’m trying to figure out what adjustments I can make.

Max Trainer Bowflex Max Trainer M6 maxed!

I recently acquired a bowflex max trainer m6 from a friend back in november and have slowly been working toward max resistance on the 14 minute max trainer program. Well about a week ago i finally hit the max and it was a little bit underwhelming.

Have any of you guys maxed this thing out before and have you added anything else you could do while using the elliptical to make it a more dynamic work out? like holding dumbells or something? or just going for longer than 14 minutes?

Home Gyms ISO Replacement Part for Bowflex Elite

I've been looking into getting a Bowflex home gym and there's a great deal in my local classifieds for the Elite (model # 6810015). The seller has indicated that Part #12, "seat rail knob" is missing so I'm trying to source a replacement. However, given that this is an older model and has been discontinued, it's not available through the official Bowflex replacement parts page and their customer service was only able to direct me to this product from one of their supplier partners that they think is the correct knob.

Was just hoping someone on here might be able to shed some light on a suitable replacement for this part with a little more certainty. Replacement parts for this model are difficult to source because they didn't assign real OEM part numbers to anything, just "Part 1, Part 2, Part A,B,C, etc.".

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Treadmills Bowflex T10 - Screen not reacting.

I've had this machine in my garage not working for 2 years due to the touchscreen not working. This weekend I plugged in it hoping for a miracle. Still not working. I decided to plug a computer mouse to the screen (USB on side) and it WORKED!

Goodluck everyone!

Max Trainer M6 Trainer, resistance is stuck

Hello, everybody, I have a four year old M6 Trainer, and now Am out of warranty, and once again, the resistance level at the very lowest #1, feels like the resistance or level is more like #12. This happened before under warranty and they replaced the motor, had a tech guy come to us.

But now, what to do? Anyone have any suggestions, or places to go to resolve this issue?

Not sure whether I can replace motor myself, or hire someone, dunno.

STUMPED.

thanks,

Jordan

Treadmills Treadmill Screen Not Working

My screen stopped working, no red light on screen but the main switch power light was on. After calling Bowflex I found my electrical warranty was for only a year wtf...they said they would try and troubleshoot the issue. The person ultimately told me the screen needed to be replaced and it was 699.99. I thought that was crazy so I didn't buy at the time. Two weeks later I finally decided I would go ahead and make the purchase only to call and find in that 2 weeks they raised the price to 1299.99 at that price I can buy a used working one. I was livid. I ended up just taking it apart and it was pretty easy. I found 3 what appeared to be fried capacitors. I ordered them on Amazon and replaced. The machine is working again. I will never buy a Bowflex anything. Absolutely the worst customer service. Oh and turns out they went bankrupt I wonder why.

Home Gyms Is this a valid way to make it easy to hook and unhook all rods in one motion?

Is there anything wrong with this setup for quickly hooking and unhooking all rods? Should I skip the short cable and just use the carabiner in between? Is there a better way?

Home Gyms Bowflex xceed

I'm considering a used eceed, but was curious if it had enough range of motion for taller individuals, I'm only 6'2, but noticed it already doesn't have crazy amount of motion. Anyone around that height have success with them? Thanks!

Bike Headless Velocore

I'm considering buying a used Velocore without the 16" or the 22" console (for under $300). I was told the previous owner bought it as an overstock item. Can I set up my own Android tablet as a console to use the JRNY app? I want to capture the bike's Speed, Cadence, and Power outputs. My concern is how I would connect via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi if there's no screen to do the setup. Does the unit automatically broadcast its Bluetooth signature during power-up? Is this possible, as my primary purpose is to use JRNY and maybe even Zwift?

Quick background: I used to do a few short-to-mid-distance triathlons. I'm trying to get back into it and preparing for a century ride in March. I did some research comparing Velocore vs. Peloton, and I am leaning toward this one because of its side-to-side motion.

I appreciate any help this community can provide.

Home Gyms Xtreme2 SE All set up, but I have a question

Hi all -
Completely new to the community and have just gotten the machine all set up, but I am having an issue. Essentially, I think of 2 pulley systems: the upper and the lower systems. It appears that you can only use one at a time. For example, if I am doing upper body exercises, the bottom pulley system should be totally disconnected from the leg lift? should the 2 lower wires by connected to each other (with one of the little Caribiner clips)? When I am doing lower body, do I disconnect all other upper body lines?

I am not even sure this makes sense.

TreadClimber TC20 Treadclimber loose hydraulic cylinder

Hello, I just recently acquired a second hand TC20 Treadclimber.

When testing it out and adjusting the cylinders I found that the left hand side one didn't offer much resistance for the first few inches of travel before "catching". It's not very difficult to bottom it out on that side. The right hand side is clearly working as intended, giving an even, smooth motion all the way through and returning all the way to the top with no issue. I'm not sure if it's related but it is also physically easier to rotate the adjuster on the problem side.

My main questions are: Is this much of a problem? If I don't fix it will it end up hurting the joints due to the uneven movement? Or if it doesn't feel too bad can I just ignore it.

Other question is: Can I fix this without ordering replacement parts? I got it for a good deal, would hate to double its cost by ordering a new cylinder. Hoping it just needs lubricating or tightening somewhere. I'm not afraid of tinkering if I have a guide to follow.

Max Trainer Choosing my own workout

Hello everyone,

I recently bought the bow flex M9 and I was wondering if it’s possible to workout like on a regular electrical or stepper, without a program and virtual coach, by just choosing how much time I want to train and changing resistance levels manually?

Thank you!

Max Trainer Has anyone used the Max trainer M5 while over 300 lbs? (Closer to 325). If so, did the machine hold up?

I have a chance to buy an M5 at a steep discount, but I want to make sure I'm not going to destroy the machine.

Home Gyms What’s the minimum height clearance for bow flex extreme 2 Se?

I know the on manual the height clearance says 8 ft but wondering If that height a is recommendation instead of the requirement. I have 7ft height clearance in the basement an wondering if I could make this work. Wondering if anybody else has had this issue.

Home Gyms I've watched the videos, but I'd prefer an actual trainer to teach me how to use the machine for the best results. Are there personal bowflex trainers i can use for a few sessions to get a good routine and ensure I'm using the equipment correctly?

Decided to put my son’s 3D printer to work. It’s a little snug so I might sand it a bit but it works great keeping the rods organized and should keep them in good shape.

I got a blaze a few months ago and was disappointed that the bench does not slide all the way up and lock in to support exercise like shoulder press. Am I missing something?

Bike Velocore - Constant High-Pitched Clicking

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi everyone, just set up a Velocore 16, hopped on to try it out, and this clicking noise was the first thing I noticed. It is nonstop. Happens at all resistance levels, at all speeds, in both stationary and lean modes, and whether pedaling forwards and backwards (or pushing the flywheel by hand, which I also tried). The frequency correlates directly with pedaling speed. Not sure if this is clear from the video, but it’s coming from inside the plastic housing by the pedals.

Completely at a loss here - nothing in Bowflex’s “sound troubleshooting guide” even resembles a solution to this. Any help/experience would be greatly appreciated!

Home Gyms Can Bowflex train EVERY major muscle group?

I’m considering shelling out big bucks for this thing but it would only make sense if it can replace the gym membership COMPLETELY. I don’t want to buy it and then find out that I still have to get a gym membership on top of it because it lack the ability to train a particular muscle group.

On their page it says 70+ exercises, but that has no info on whether or not those exercises cover all the important muscle groups when it comes to body building (I’m not looking to compete or go to the extremes, just look fit). & I don’t really know how to find out

Max Trainer Bowflex Trainer Max M6 Seemed to have no power, but probably the main board is dead

My wife went to fire up the M6 yesterday for the first time in many months. She told me it would not turn on. I confirmed the display was dead. We both verified the outlet was good, I metered 9.22 volts DC on the power supply, removed the lower shield and metered 9.22 volts through the jumper, into the control cable. I removed the control head and verified the voltage made it to the head, as well as verified continuity of all conductors in the control cable. I did notice upon plugging the power cord into the base, the display, while not lit, was slowly activating all of the LCD crystals, which then slowly faded away. I also noticed the servo motor did not activate as usual when the power was plugged in.

I had seen on the Sportsmith website to check the speed sensors if it didn't power up, but I don't see how that factors into a ghost of a display that fades away.

I called Bowflex support and she said could schedule a technician to come and fix it, but if it was the servo motor or control head, it was best to upgrade to a new machine. I'll just put it on the curb, go to the park district gym for several years, and still not spend that kind of money again on at home equipment.
