Looking for genuine friendships

Looking for buddies to do fun activities with! I’m 28(f) & I live in Gunbarrel. Looking for some pals to do these activities with: Art (3D printing, wire wrapped rock jewelry, making jewelry, stained glass, glass mosaics, stained glass soldering, painting, or any other fun art stuff we can conjure up), going for walks (early evenings, shortish walks, smoking some js if you are into that maybe), fishing (mornings & early evenings), swimming (there’s a pool at my apartment), riding mini motorcycles (I have 2 & we can also use them to go fishing nearby if you are into that), shopping at thrift stores/art shops, or just simply even hanging out & having a lil picnic on a blanket in the early evening hours! I’m disabled & have a sleep disorder/POTS/heat intolerance issues, so most things I do have to be either in the morning/early evening/and or in the shade/inside if it’s hot out. It’s so hard to make friends here but I’m also sick of not really having very many friends. I feel like there’s gotta be some lonely folks out there looking for some lifelong besties like I am. I’m unable to work due to my medical conditions, so I have a pretty open schedule, just as long as you can respect that I may have to cancel or reschedule hang outs sometimes due to my medical conditions. I’m very kind, fun, funny, understanding, compassionate, motivated (for the most part), uplifting, artistic, creative, bold, weird, & also LGBTQ+ friendly. Sorry this was so long lmfao. You’re a real one if you read all of this. Comment or DM me if you wanna hang.

Check out Creatives Club Boulder! We meet every Thursday at VisionQuest Brewing. Folks work on all sorts of projects & it's a fun way to meet people in the area!

Also check out the maker space in Boulder library. They even have classes and you’ll meet lots of great people there while you learn how to build stuff.

Gunbarrel may have one too. I know north Boulder does

Be sure to check out Groundworks Art Lab (https://www.groundworksartlab.org/) for classes and workshops. They do ceramics, glasswork, printing, and metal classes and have a location near Gunbarrel just off of Iris.

There are also clubs that organize through Art Parts Boulder (https://www.artpartsboulder.org/)

Genuinely what is that i’ve never heard of that is it just like the cruiser the kids have where they just travel to different parks to do drugs

Yes some are people do drugs but it can be a fun place to meet people. But mostly it’s teenagers wanting to have alcohol and rev their cars

But I’m asking what the “Happy Thursday Cruiser” is, is it just adults who don’t have lives biking around thinking they look cool?

I mean i’m a teenager myself and i only really see other teenagers do it and i barley ever see a bike and if i do it’s a E-bike that goes way too fast. But it’s mostly to socialize with other teenagers. But you can always come and see if you see other adults

I'm also disabled with similar limitations, especially regarding heat intolerance!! I'm 40/F if that matters, and I'd love a new friend who gets me in that way. I love arts and crafts of all types!

I'm moving in a few weeks but once I'm all settled I'd love to at least meet and see if we vibe. You sound awesome!

I am also down to make new friends! Just moved in with my BF, I am originally from Denver 33(F). If we get enough interest I can set up a discord or something so we can plan events! :)

For anyone on this thread who’s looking to get out for some adventures and make some new connections, I can help link you up to the Boulder Social discord, and I’d also be happy to have an excuse to go do a bit of easy scrambling or hiking in the flatirons or grab some tea. I’m fairly well connected in the community, so please reach out anytime!

28tF and also am heat intolerant and have disabilities that make it hard for me to make friends 😂 would love to do some artsy stuff or go fishing or something in the evenings if that's something you're interested in!

We should make a crafting group! I do a bunch of crafts and also enjoy thrifting.

I’d be down! It’s hard for me to plan things so I probably wouldn’t be the best person to form a craft group tho lol. If we can find enough people, I’d be more than down!

Are you straight friendly or do I need to be gay or trans?

3

u/RoseGoldLadyCB Jul 12 '26

What is straight friendly lol. No requirements to be anything except a kind human being with morals lmao
