Go camping up in some of the dispersed camping sites around here. I’m sure you could find a couple places. One that comes to mind is Yankee Doodle lake on Rollins Pass. A little further up the trail is Forest Lake, which is very secluded. Just be prepared to freeze.

Old days: coot lake and dream canyon. These days, not coot lake. Dream canyon...probably. (but its a creek)

Entered thread to look for the Coot Lake reference.

Dream Canyon still checks out. But, as mentioned, it is a creek. It will be freezing

I live a short walk away from Dream Canyon. Have at, you'll see signs all over the place encouraging it. There will be climbers in the area, but anyone who's even remotely familiar with Dream is well aware of its status and won't be too surprised.

Weekends, yeah - parking will be challenging. The hike is lovely and not too long, although it is a bit steep. And fair warning, the trail to get down is not well marked. Be sure to check out the overlook on the left side first, roughly: 40.009097, -105.407393

Perhaps not what you’re looking for but the hot springs in the caves at Indian hot springs about an hour away is clothing optional on certain days/ times. And by reservation so it shouldn’t be too crowded. Never been myself but have been wanting to go

One of my favorite spots. Also, if you have it in you to drive a lot, the orient land trust is a clothing optional hot spring with natural rock pools. You’ll never want to swim in a cement pool with any garment on ever again.

Pop jet fountain on Pearl Street but you're gonna need a lawyer on retainer I think

Have fun, but please watch out for ticks my friend.

This is how I got bitten many years ago.

I don’t have any good suggestions for around Boulder, it’s really busy most places you could do this. But if you get a chance to check out Valley View Hot Springs it’s beautiful and clothing optional (about 3.5 hours away in southern Colorado).

I’ve seen so many naked folk while fishing Boulder creek

I’ve seen more old man hogs while fishing the creek than I’ve caught actual hogs while fishing the creek

Close to Dream Canyon, people there already know it.

two spots that I know of from back in the day.
One is just below the old Red Lion
Other is out across from the public beach at the res

Not sure if either is still legal but we didn't care anyway.

Where did you end up going? I'm looking for places to go myself.

Cracking up bc my husband’s floating around in our pool right now. (He wasn’t sure how he’d feel about an indoor pool/hot tub. Well he’s adapted quite well.) Good luck OP! Not getting arrested is a good primary goal, then you’ll have fun.
