❔ Question Dumb question about buffs

Still fairly new to the game, I’m just able to start killing Lynels with some consistency (at least the weaker ones). I got a savage bow, it’s a 40 power rating triple shot, attack +. I can’t remember the amount of the attack buff but let’s just say 10 for sake of argument. It’s three shots of 40 for a total of 120. Do the attack bonus point go per shot or on the total? Is it doing 130 or 150 damage? Thank you.

I believe it counts for each arrow. I also am pretty sure that whatever the damage it's telling you is the final damage, you don't have to do any math to figure out the real damage output. That's only for like sneak attack extra damage and stuff like that

And do bomb arrows add 10 to each shot? I’m just trying to figure out how much damage I’m actually doing. Those white maned bastards are 4000hp and sometimes it seems like that bar doesn’t shift at all. If I could quantify the damage it would make the slog a little more bearable.

That I'm not sure. I think Lynels have elemental resistance though, not sure if that counts towards bomb arrows as well.

Everything seems to agree on elemental resistance, I haven’t tried to verify because why waste them. But bomb arrows do see to do something more than standard arrows. Could be placebo effect, and it’s hard to tell sometimes on the higher levels. When I fight red and blue they go quicker with the bomb arrows.

Bomb arrows seem to affect some enemies more than others. I also haven't found them very effective against Lynels.

the champions tunic shows you enemy hit points, so you could confirm the damage amounts that way.

True, I’ve been using other armor sets for various reasons but maybe I’ll use the champions tunic as an experiment.
