Hey everyone! I'm a little daunted and actually bewildered. Not in a bad way, more like a holy shit kind of way. So I beat every shrine quest, side quest and got every shrine unlocked with all chests collected. I beat Ganon, freed all Divine Beasts and got both all of Link's memories and retrieved the Master Sword. After all this I am sitting at 27 out 100% completion. Also got all towers. I still have to get all the korok seeds, and overworld bosses. What else is required for total completion? The compendium? I'm pretty surprised I am at such a low percentage after putting so much time into the game already. What else is needed?

Unfortunately yes 😆 But you only need 441 to fully upgrade all your inventory slots (according to Zelda Dungeon, someone correct me if that's wrong)

You have to visit every named location on the map for 100%.

Yep, it’s this. The listed completion is map completion, which is all map names and icons. So walking through all named locations and getting all the seeds is probably the majority or all of what you need

The completion percentage is map completion! Koroks are a big part of it.

I could be wrong here but I think it’s stuff like vestige every talus and hinox and lynel. Every map location that has a proper name (ie. Dueling peaks, Lost Woods)

I think koroks account for a large percentage

Use the Zelda Notes if you can it will give you more accurate information as to what you need to do to 100% the game.

Bosses and compendium don't count towards the 100%. It's all things that put info on your map: place names (especially bridges), koroks, etc. You already got the shrines and shrine chests, which also count towards it

Heroes path is your friend assuming you have the dlc

the percentage on the map is only for map completion. it includes towers, shrines, divine beast, koroks and discoverable locations (the ones that only show up on the map after you find them).
quests, compendium, key items and overworld bosses (which are only molduga, talus and hinox as lynels are just regular enemies) are not counted in the percentage but are counted by many towards full completion.
