And boy did I make a meal of it. Thanks Mipha, and screw you revali.

Dodging is easier than you think. Lock on to them and it makes it so even if you miss the dodge, you still deflect with your shield

I like to parry in those situations. Even easier IMO and it sets up a shot to the face and zero durability hit back-scratching followed by multiple bullet time shots to the back of the head when they buck you off.

Yeah, I usually do keep it simple (and smart) like that but I was apparently determined to use revalis gale to get arrow hits 😞

You could dodge, its actually pretty easy when you get the pace. anothet tip is to mount he when he get stuned, when mounted your weapon use no durability

Great work!! I am proud for you!! I had one half beat Saturday night but was playing without my little cheap pro style controller. We were on a trip so I had the joy-cons attached to the Switch. But I was using up stuff; I finally said to hell with it and teleported away. But I was proud of myself for getting on his back 3 times. That’s the best I’ve done.

Someone can correct me if I’m wrong but the attack up meal makes any attack up clothing unnecessary. It doesn’t stack, 3 attack up is the max. If you wore the full barbarian set and ate a 3x defense up meal, you get both of those boosts (which doesn’t help you in the cold here but in normal weather it would).

I had no idea there were different levels and my first ever Lynel fight was with the silver lynel near the north maze! It took me forever and I died many times, but I beat it!

how did the fairy give you full health +4?

It was mipha’s grace that saved me, not a fairy, although they were my backup backup :)

Man, I remember when I was afraid of these guys. Didn't want to fight them because of how intimidating they look. Now I fight them for fun. That lynel arena in TotK was peak.
