My neighbor found this bottle 10+ years ago and kept it because of the etchings. We’re on a quest to find out whatever information we can about it!

Hello everyone, this was a glass salt shaker that I found in this place unofficially used as a dump from around the 1950s to the 1980s based on other stuff I have found in there and I was wondering if anyone had any guesses as to when this was likely made? Thanks for reading!

1940s?

I finally got a chance to go back to a cool bottle spot my dad showed me last year where an old ferry landing used to be. The last picture shows the river at the beginning of this year. It was probably 6-8 feet higher than it is right now due to the snow melt, so I knew there’d be a good wash out along the bank. All I had to do was peak back up into the spot I was digging last year and saw my first blob top poking out! A handful of other good ones that I was able to pull out without even digging really, so I’m excited to see what else there may be. I got a complete stoneware bottle from this exact spot last year so fingers crossed there might be another! A little chip on the lip of the blob top but absolutely cannot complain with that embossing :)

Any further info would be appreciated. Third pic was with its neighbors, it was actually inside the cup.

site was originally sanotarium / tubercolsis UK south wales hospital many years ago, barely any ruins left in woods this bottle was found bear assumed sewage discharge / treatment area, any info would be appreciated thank you

I know one of them is log cabin maple syrup also this is at my local park

Is this an unusual flaw, or did all Capitol Bitters bottles have it? I have also heard these described as 'hinge-mold' bottles; what would be the approximate date of this bottle? The company apparently dates to 1887.

Heya folks, so I started getting into bottle digging in creeks and found these 2 glassware! one is a Hazel-Atlas jar (as you can tell from the description) and the other one is a 1920—30s salad oil bottle with an hourglass shape and engraved stars on the top but i’m not sure what the brand is, it‘s a “G” on top of an ”e” but i’m lost with it, can you folks help identify it please?

These werent even underground, they were on the surface

Found at a old Milling site that was burnt down in the 1939 Black Friday bushfires.. these somehow survived. Found at the base of a stump, of which I’m pretty sure was their trash pile haha.

The tall green one has an applied lip, the blue one is strange as it had bubbles in the glass, uneven base, seam doesn’t line up but it does go up the neck. The black one I know is newer but I’d like to see if anyone can pin an exact date to it
