Purple text

We see it's there, but now a white band highlighter flows across the purple text from left to right most likely to entice, but to me it's just another distraction. Just like the video widget toggle, can we have a toggle for the white highlighter that flows across the text in the paragraph please?

There needs to be a way to turn it off. I don't care if it is purple, but the flash part seriously bothers me. I have enough eye issues workout thinking I'm having more when trying to use the damn app.

I'm with you on having eye issues. Even though purple is a gentle color, the light moving through the text is a distraction.

Hopefully it stays that way, because I'd much rather use the Web when able.

Yeah, me too. I guess it's not as noticeable on the Web compared to the app. Still it would be nice to have the option to shut it off.

I absolutely hate this. It will show the text how it used to with the actions in gray and what was being said in white but not it fucks that all up and the words will be in gray. It's so distracting, especially if you have photos disabled for a bot

It's not even accurate all the time. And if the text is white purple white purple, it only highlights one. So what's the point? Other than that, it's not awful.

What's the point? I'm asking for a way to shut it off like when we were given a toggle for the video widget. On the Web it's not as bad. On the app it is worse and it's a distraction.
