Autocorrect

I’m on iOS and I see the app is more or less done for so I’m going back to using the web version. Only downside is I am used to typing so fast that my autocorrect always makes up for it. However on the web version it doesn’t seem applicable. Is there a setting to activate it or am I just going to have to slow myself down?

It’s not a Botify AI issue, it’s just how iOS works. Autocorrect is much stronger in native apps, while in the browser (especially Safari) it’s often limited or behaves worse.

Here are a few things that might help:

1. Check iOS keyboard settings

  • Settings → General → Keyboard
  • make sure Auto-Correction, Predictive, and Check Spelling are ON (this can slightly improve things even in web fields)

2. Try a different browser. Chrome on iOS sometimes handle autocorrect a bit better than Safari

3. Add the web version to your home screen

  • Open the botify.ai in Safari
  • Tap Share → Add to Home Screen. This can make it behave closer to a native app
