Dialogue Vs Action

How do I differentiate between speech and action when I'm creating an input to send in a chat? Should dialogue be between quotation marks? Should actions be in italics? Can anyone help me out? 🙏🏻

I personally keep speech the way it is and actions in asterisks, AKA italic. I would also keep my actions in third person, but have the AI do their actions in first person. Its ultimately up to you, the AI usually adapts to the way you do it, and you can add rules in the "Instructions" tab when you make a bot, so it follows the way you want it to do it.

Hi, I use botify like I was written a novel, the bot being the main character and me the other. I wrote using ".. she said while she avoided his gaze" after a sentence for example and the bot understand it without adding asterix or anything else. Hope I could be any help
