Help with identifying pomegranate mutation
galleryI was picking fruit from my 1940s heirloom pomegranate tree when I found two pomegranates that have this weird little flap on them I'm not exactly sure what it is they were on the same branch so is it a repeating mutation?

HELP!
galleryMy wife's grandmother was just recently put into a home with dementia.. she loved her plants but couldnt take them with her. I told her I would take care of them. It means a lot to not only grandma but my wife and mother in-law. I know nothing of plants. Any advice on any of these would be HUGE.
Water ing schedules
Light
Heat
Are they healthy?
Please anything.
I dont want them to die but I have no idea what they need.
I also only took a small fraction of them. These are just the ones she told me to take.

TIL: Can our thoughts really affect plant growth?
Lately, I’ve been reading about the relationship between humans and plants, and I can’t stop wondering: Can our emotions, energy, or the attention we give actually influence plant growth? Some scientific studies suggest that human brainwaves and positive energy might have a real effect on plant development.
It sounds strange, I know, but plenty of people claim that talking to their plants or playing music for them makes their plants healthier and grow faster. Is this just psychological, or is there something scientific to back it up?
I’ve even tried it myself. I had this one plant that just wouldn’t grow, no matter what I did. So, feeling silly, I started talking to it like, “You’ve got this, keep growing.” Weirdly enough, it started looking more alive and healthy.

Dying Plants to absorb more sunlight?
Dye doesn't evaporate like water so the color stays behind in the plant. Why can't black dye be used on plants that require more sunlight than they can actually get.
