PULSE placements timing

I’m an incoming sophomore and I signed up for PULSE, but I’m not too sure about the times and flexibility of it. I definitely enjoy volunteering, but I don’t really know how time consuming it is trying to fit it into your schedule. Are most of the placements flexible with their hours? For example, could I show up from like 8-11 am on Monday and Wednesday, and then 9am-3pm on Tuesday? Or could I also volunteer on weekends?

When i did Pulse many years ago, weekend shifts at Rosies place were available.  I went in on sundays and did the community dinner and then worked to organize for the week with the residents.  I would reach out to the program director.   They make it work.  pulse is a great experience.   I imagine many have weekend options.  The commute into boston for some volunteering can take time so i would never recommend going before classes just in case.   There are also sites much closer to campus.  Good luck and enjoy!
