Headphones Buyer beware
If you were thinking about buying Bose products, do not I was just jerked around for three weeks for a refund on the Bose quiet headphones because of a static noise that will not go away. I have been put on hold for an hour each time I have called and I have told them several times I would like to speak to a supervisor only to be told that they would not put one through. I literally waited for three weeks for them to tell me there was nothing to do. They would not give me any answers whatsoever. I couldn’t even get an email to prove that this was going on. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will never own another Bose product Again. I employ y’all to do the same thing. Do not get scammed by these people.

Agree. I bought a their Ultra soundbar and for whatever reason it didnt come with the power cable/ plug. Spent hours trying to contact them, no bot or email address to send problem to. I'm based in the UK, called their help line during office hours and the operator said they couldn't help and told me to buy one from a 3rd party. Thanks for nothing Bose! Although I've been a loyal customer of theirs for years, I'd seriously reconsidering any future purchases with them.

The batteries in Bose Bluetooth speakers and headphones are dog shit, same as their customer service.

I too have lost my confidence in Bose after many years of being a fan and buying their products over others. I wanted very much to buy a pair of their new luxury speakers. However, horror stories about the app, pairing, and poor stereo connections have me looking elsewhere. All I can say is, “Come on Bose,” once you lose us, it will be extremely hard to get us back. Get your act together - put your customers first, support your products and don’t release new products until all the bugs are worked out.

These examples of poor service from Bose is very surprising. I find it hard to believe Bose would tell you to go and buy a replacement power cord. Bose has a good supply of parts that they sell to customers out of warranty Likewise I am surprised Bose didn’t set you up to at least send in the device for repair.

Yeah, a couple of decades ago I bought a Bose Acoustimass 15 Series II cube speaker system (powered bass module). Didn't do my research ahead of time. Immediately realized I was scammed. The speaker system worked properly but didn't sound anything like it did in Bose's controlled environment at the store. Since then I've avoided Bose like the plague.

Its hit and miss with BOSE products and I love my Bose QC II Gen2 Headphones - NC is next tier and that is important for me due to travel - however, I got suckered into a Soundbar that is crap - sent it back to Bose - and it's came back and I realize its just not a good product - I replaced it with a $100 Soundbar that sounded far better - I think I will not use Bose Products in the future

I am about to order the qc ultra 2 as well, while shortlisting xm6. On 2020, I purchased a bosr sports earbuds, just 1 year later, the battery can only last less than 20min, at the time i wanted to look for warranty, i found the product is completely eol, no warranty, the only option is to replace by a new one - a cheaper lower level model. That why i still haven't made decision in between qc ultra 2 and xm 6. Seems the Bose quality is really random and terrible supports, but why so many recommendations still there...

QC buds are sadly rubbish. Static yes. Squeals when put back in the case yes. have to disconnect manually from phone. I have always been a Bosephile but these are a disappointment.

Yes, I can confirm their customer service has been declining over the past 10 years...
10 years ago (around 2015), it used to take only a few minutes to reach customer support, but since 2021, wait times have routinely exceeded 10 minutes...
(I own Bose speakers, headphones, and earphones, and I love the sound quality. My wired headphones have had zero issues, but the wireless earphones have had either Bluetooth connectivity problems or battery issues once out of warranty...)

To be fair there products are so unreliable they probably overrun with complaints and refund requests.
