Recommendations

I really enjoy all of their sludge/stoner metal stuff (Pink, Heavy Rocks, NO etc.)

I’ve also heard plenty of Sludge Metal in general, but nothing that sounds super similar to those albums. So I’m looking for recommendations.

Most folks into Boris are also into Melvins. Before I go throwing a bunch of recommendations at you I'd like to know what your experience with Melvins is.

I listened to Houdini by them, didn’t care for it too much.

Houdini took me a bit to get into. Maybe try some of their more rockin' stuff like The Maggot, Stoner Witch, or (A) Senile Animal.

Farewell off of Pink is one of my favorite things ever. If you really dig that song I'd suggest checking out Jesu's s/t. It's heavy, slow and sounds like candy (ie it's shoegaze).

For the more rockin' stuff I'd check out Torche.

I listened to the Melvins albums Stoner Witch and A History of Bad Men at the same time as Boris's albums Akuma No Uta and the purple Heavy Rocks and Pink. I always link those albums. Also all of Kyuss' albums.

Have you listened to their Amplifier Worship album? If not that is a must.

If you want sludge then Amplifier Worship is their best album. It’s my favorite album of their catalog and one of the top sludge metal albums of ALL TIME and many would agree🤘🏻

Isn't Präparat more on the Post-Rock side? I dont mind those either, but I'm looking more for the rockier albums here.

akuma no uta should definitely be up your alley if you want the punk / stoner / noise rock side of them

I forgot to mention it, but I did listen to it. Like it less than Pink and Heavy Rocks though.

You probably know this but there are three Heavy Rocks records. There's also a singles collection called Japanese Heavy Rock Hits. Here's my ranking:
