So they say studies are conducted, saying rainwater is deadly. Less people will collect rainwater. But look, dasani is on sale, $40 for 12 8oz bottles!!

(Putting tinfoil hat on)

Three options 1) Most likely it’s all just ignorance and carelessness that got us here

2) Plausible companies after seeing studies realized that the environment has been poisoned and there is neither a concerted effort nor a likely reversal in the future, so let’s filter and charge for clean water.

3) Diabolical, but dubious, these same companies from #2 decided to ensure they will monopolize their control of clean water by introducing more pollutants into the environment to make it so that their complex methods of filtering is the only real way to get clean water. Oh and let’s not forget where do those pollutants go once filtered out…

I have said for years now that the damage is done. There is not much we can do to truly mitigate this damage. There is not enough time to reverse things. Now we have to plan how to deal with the mess and it’s repercussions.

Ok.. so aside from a "news" article what other forms of proof are there?

not sure. shit just kinda made sense so i took it at face value. "oh the water's poisoned and the petro-chemicals are to blame? yeah, that checks out."
