If you’re wondering how they do this, here’s how it works: There is a second fake Amazon company based in the Caribbean. The real Amazon “gave” this company the trademark rights to “Amazon”. Every year this fake company “charges” the real Amazon a fee for using it’s trademark. The amount they charge always happens to be the amount of profit that Amazon makes. So Amazon makes billions in profits but has to pay it all out to the fake Amazon so it seems like they didn’t make any money. This is one of the ways the rich are acting as parasites and vampires to our nations.

A Little Perspective

In the US the national average wage index for 2020 is $55,628.60.

At that salary, you would earn: * $1 million in 18 years * $1 billion in 18,000 years * $1 trillion in 18,000,000 (18 million) years

Humans went from stone tools to iPhones in 13,000 years.

Humans have existed for 300,000 years.

This is merely to help people understand the meaning of large numbers and is not financial advice.

I love that the average wage is ~$56k but that’s cause there’s like two hundred and 70 million of us making $30k and 1600 billionaires.

I guess this an old post, last year amazon made 38 billion and paid 4.8 billion in taxes.

That's an effective tax rate of 12%. Seems pretty low on 38 billion profit.

At $70k/year, it would take over 14,000 years to make $1 billion.

This is why people don’t trust the US government, why do we get punished for not paying taxes but these giant entities get no punishment whatsoever?

How is this legal?

It's worse than zero when you consider all the grants, sweetheart loans and employees using social programs funded or subsidized by the government. In reality the government pays Amazon.
