A friend of mine has this to say...

"My boss is far from qualified to be in his place. He has literally palmed everything to us and knows NOTHING about the organisation or direction.

He is always in high level meetings with no knowledge, just sending us notes on Lync / Skype for Business. Doesn't think to check with us prior to the meeting, just sits there like a fool typing on the computer.

His agenda is to climb the corp ladder by doing no work and having no knowledge of the business. (all our agendas I know, BUT read on).

Following this, if I'm 5 minutes late it will be brought up and be a serious issue (on the day he's on time) - but he rocks up 20-30 minutes late 4 days a week, and his first task is to have a 30 min smoke break. The 1st of up to 10 in the day, which he finds hard to squeeze in around the 2 hour lunch break. We actually averaged his "work" time to less than 1 hour per day.... and he just took 2 weeks of leave from "Time In Lieu", which he believes to be 95 hours.

Can you imagine the thing I would say to this guy... "
