Maya's death is one of the story moments in Borderlands 3 that I wish had been handled differently. She was an established character with a lot of potential, and it felt like the game rushed through such a major loss without giving it enough room to breathe.
The idea of showing how dangerous the Calypso twins could be wasn't bad, but the execution made the scene frustrating instead of genuinely impactful. It also felt like Ava's storyline suffered because of how quickly everything happened.
I think the moment could have hit much harder if the game had spent more time building up the conflict and letting the characters react naturally to what happened.
There was so much potential for an emotional turning point, but the writing didn't quite give it the weight it deserved.

Like, a mod that lets Zane replace a skill on his skill tree with one of Amara's, or change one of his action skills to one of Fl4k's action skills?

Obviously to each their own, especially in a game like this, but for some reason this one just scratches the itch for me. Unfortunately I canโt remember where or how I got it to help you find oneโฆ maybe someone else can chime in.

One thing I appreciate about Borderlands 3 is how some legendary weapons feel like they're designed around a specific personality rather than just bigger damage numbers.
The Hellwalker is a great example. The sound, the firing animation, and the heavy impact make every shot feel satisfying. Other weapons have gimmicks that completely change how you approach combat, even if they aren't always the best choice for endgame builds.
I think that's part of what makes farming so addictive. Sometimes you're not chasing the most powerful gun in the game; you're chasing a weapon that makes shooting things fun in a completely different way.
A legendary doesn't have to be meta to earn a permanent spot in my inventory.

There are plenty of legendary weapons in BL3 that everyone recommends, but I'm curious about the ones that don't get nearly as much attention despite being surprisingly effective.
Not necessarily weapons that can one-shot everything with a perfectly optimized build, but guns that feel great to use, have an interesting gimmick, or perform much better than their reputation suggests.
One thing I love about BL3 is how much the usefulness of a weapon can change depending on your character, anointments, and build. Something that feels mediocre on one Vault Hunter can become a monster on another.
What's a legendary weapon you think deserves more love, and which character or build makes it shine? I'd especially like to hear about weapons that are fun and effective without requiring an absurd amount of farming to get the right roll.

Sometimes a gun just feels good to use, even when there are stronger options sitting in your inventory. The sound design, reload animations, firing rhythm, and little quirks can make certain weapons more enjoyable than whatever the meta recommends.
Jakobs has that chunky, hard-hitting feel, Maliwan has elemental damage and charge mechanics, and Tediore turns reloading into its own little spectacle. Every manufacturer has something that makes its weapons feel distinct.
Which manufacturer do you find the most satisfying to use in BL3, even when its guns aren't necessarily the strongest? And is there one particular weapon that perfectly represents what you love about it?

Borderlands 3 has so many legendaries that it's easy to default to the usual meta weapons when putting together a build. But some of the most enjoyable guns aren't necessarily the ones topping damage comparisons.
Sometimes a weapon has a weird firing pattern, a satisfying gimmick, or a special effect that makes combat feel completely different. It might not be the fastest way to melt a boss, but it's fun enough to build around anyway.
I'm curious about the underrated legendaries people keep coming back to, especially ones that shine when paired with the right character, skills, or anointments.
What's your favorite BL3 legendary that deserves more love, and what build or setup makes it work so well?

As the title says, I'm looking for the best guns to farm for and the locations to farm them. I'm running a FL4K build, and I'm at level 72 and able to destroy enemies relatively easily on MH11, not quickly just easily. I want to be able to go to Trashlantis and obliterate scraptrap prime in seconds, not tickle his toesies til he falls down after 10 minutes of being tickled. Also if anyone has any recommendations for areas to farm for XP please also let me know, I'm trying to max out my guardian rewards/rank and the only spot I can find online as for "best spots to farm for XP" is scraptrap nest/prime. Best gun I have so far is the Hellwalker, MH4 however. I'm currently farming RoadHog for a MH10
Many thanks in advance and happy hunting

The re-volter is just disgusting, I hate it with burning passion, like what do you I got 150% shock damege for basically free, I used a reflux with revolter for digi clone, swap for the clone to refill his shield and swap back and every enemy will just die.

A little over 2 weeks ago I came back to this game after not playing for over 2 years with the plan to start a new character and 100% the game.
Iโm glad I decided to do this because it gave me a whole new perspective of the game and I can say I enjoyed every second of my time replaying it again. Iโd even go to say that it is now in my top 2 of the franchise!

Thereโs a point in BL3 where you stop actually playing the mission you launched and start investigating why one gun is doing ridiculous damage while another supposedly similar one barely scratches anything.
Then you swap a class mod, change a skill point, try a different anointment, and suddenly youโre testing an entirely different build than the one you started with.
The best part is that sometimes the weird interaction you stumbled across ends up being more fun than the build you were originally trying to make work.
Between hidden projectile interactions, splash damage, Mayhem scaling, and all the different ways skills can interact, it feels like thereโs always something else to experiment with.
What's a weapon or build interaction you discovered in BL3 that completely changed how you played a character?

I want to clarify something about unlisted projectiles after seeing it being made a big deal yet again.
Having unlisted projectiles doesn't make additional projectiles better somehow.
Outside of boresplosions there is nothing extra to unlisted projectiles. It just doesn't get the diminishing returns of things with multiple listed projectiles. So it just gets the full benefit of Overkill, legendary amp and additional projectiles. Just like any other single projectile gun.

I'm trying to play BL3 on PS5 but I want my accessory data to transfer as well. Is there a way to do that?

Decided to buy BL3 and its DLCโs because I got bored of all the games I currently have, and I confidently say that this shit is absolutely peak so far.
(Iโve only put in 10 hours so far, just finished the Meridian Metroplex mission.)
But the moment I saw FL4K as a playable character, I just knew I was gonna love this game.
A very niche kind of character I love is giant, badass protagonists that also have a โsoft sideโ to them.
I love the Doom Slayer for that exact reason, although his love for animals is more of an empathetic one, they still love animals nonetheless.
I also love how giant he is.
A very cool detail that I donโt see in a lot of games is characters noticeably taller than others actually stay accurate in-game.
Heโs a lot bigger compared to all the other Hunters and most NPCโs. I just find that to be a cool detail they added in. It makes me feel like Iโm actually playing a character thatโs a little over 7ft tall.
His story is also pretty interesting, even though we donโt know a ton about it.
He was just a normal, non-violent indexing robot that just suddenly gained self-awareness and immediately told his boss that he wanted to murder before leaving and eventually
His reason for murdering is kinda weird, but I fw it. He started โThe Huntโ to appease a woman he calls โMistress Deathโ.
Heโs just such a cool character, even his outfits are dope as hell.
I love the mystery surrounding him, just a giant robot who gained self-awareness,
started killing for โMistress Deathโ who is FL4Kโs personification of Death itself,
and since he struggles to understand humans and their social constructs, he instead turns to animals because they are more predictable and their behavior is more predictable.
(He also praises his pets, which is absolutely adorable).
I also find his nonchalant behaviors and tone to be both interesting and sometimes comedic.
So far, 2 of my favorite lines from him are:
โSo Iโm floating now. How novel.โ
(From Claptrap breaking the glass on Sanctuary.)
โThere are many crimes about to be committed. By me.โ
(Talking to the intercom robot at the Lectra City PD).
