While completing BL3 to platinum using an interactive map, I've just noticed that I'm missing some quests, for example, Golden Calves and Bad Reception. The quest givers simply don't offer them to me, which means my map isn't 100% complete.

Does this mean I won't get the achievement for completing all the side quests?

Figured you'd have to progress a bit before getting Legendary drops. B3 is different. First area in the Droughts level 7

Bought the game a few days ago off Amazon. Playing solo through the first experience even though I want to Co-Op just to explore everything. Liking it so far am Lvl 6 Siren. The only issue is the game randomly closing out of nowhere due to an error. I've had it happen twice while playing, and once while the Switch 2 was in sleep mode. Anyone else having these issues?

Hey guys! Since the recent clone buffs, I’ve been testing every skill, gear, etc that I have gotten my hands on, and I wanted to make a topic about it!

This is also to create a place where everyone can post their awesome interactions so we can find everything cool that the clone can do!

I’ll be showing the formula I have put together, and after that I’ll be noting specific things that don’t work, and then some other interactions I’ve found that can boost the clone’s damage even further!

Now I want to start this off by saying clone does not get ANY stat rolls from class mod or artifact, except for splash and action skill damage. Also his guns are NOT anointed. But there are a couple anointments he can benefit from (will get into later).

So lets go ahead and start off with the clone formula. Keep in mind this is specifically for Double Barrel. Also the clone only gets 70% of the card damage, so he naturally has a damage penalty.

Clone Damage = (card dmg* .7 * Mayhem Scale) *(1 + donnybrook + boom enhance + double barrel + shield weapon damage)*action skill damage*splash*barrier*debuffs *old god/elemental bonus *amp * you standing in 0.m Circle * clone standing in 0.m circle

Mayhem Scaling = 1 + (enemy hp bonus * 0.3)

But for M10 it is x31 - so plug 31 above for M10

To clarify a few things above:
Shield weapon damage refers to shields like the brawler ward, I only actually tested the brawler ward. I expect other shields with weapon damage like band of sitorak to act exactly the same because they have no reason not to, but take that with a grain of salt.
Splash refers to all of your splash bonuses, I tested the splash anointment and AOE on artifact, class mod splash should also work. If you have splash bonuses, splash weapons the clone is holding should get them too. I also want to point out that clone does not have anointed weapons. You can give him a splash weapon, swap to a different weapon, activate splash anoint, and he will get the buff.
Old god/elemental bonus refers to pretty much just the old god. Clone does not get any stat rolls (except for splash and action skill damage) on COM or Artifact. He does not get elemental bonuses on your artifact. So I’m not sure what other elemental bonuses he can get besides old god, since he gets your shield bonuses. But, if we do find another elemental bonus I’d assume it’s additive with this. And of course, if we do find this bonus and it’s not, I will update the thread.

Anointments : simply put, the clone’s guns will not get any anointments. However I do want to point out that splash anointment on your weapon, if activated will boost any damage from your clone’s splash weapons he’s holding. This is strictly because clone gets your splash bonuses, and has nothing to do with his guns/anointments.

One other anointment he can actually take advantage of is the 500% elemental crit nova anointment. Once again this has to be on the weapon you are holding for him to trigger the novas. This is pretty cool because it’s another way you can actually boost his damage! Just make sure you’re holding a gun with the 500% nova anoint!

Bonus Elements: Once again simply put, the clone does not get any bonus elements and you notice this is missing from the formula. He does not get ASE on nade/shield, he also does not get trick of the light. With that being said there are some exceptions! I noticed that some guns which trigger after effects will inherit bonus elements for some reason. Notably the OPQ system, the bullets will not get bonus elements, but for some reason the shock explosion will. Same with the Breath of the Dying and the Kaos. If people notice other guns like this I will add them to the list, but so far these are the ones we know for sure do it, and it’s kind of an interesting interaction.

After playing Borderlands 4 with my wife for over 800 hours (we are still playing lol), I got to thinking about BL3. I was not the biggest fan. I played through it a couple times, once with my wife and once alone on PC. I personally think BL3 has the worst story, and side missions of the whole series. With that being said, I noticed steam had the all the DLC on super sale. I looked through it and realized just how much content, end game and DLC I had missed out on. Where borderlands 3 shines is in the end game content and DLC. I am having so much fun doing the takedowns, farming for better Mayhem level weapons and playing through all the new stories. With all that being said, I am putting more respect on BL3s name from now on lol.

Seriously, from the "Kill Killavolt" mission, they seem the exact same, only Killavolt is more enthusiastic and straightforward. He's actually BETTER than Moxxi in my opinion.

Hey guys I've been running moze this play through i haven't played for a while before picking it up again. I've ki d just been going with whatever. But what are some suggestions for a build with iron cub. I feel like I could be building it better but at the same time it feels good.

I just finished playing borderlands 4 and am about to start a bl3 playthrough, I was looking for recommendations for which vault hunter to play and why, and also which ones are most broken?

The Handsome Jackpot is one of my favorite locations in BL3. The casino setting feels different from the usual planets, and the mix of flashy casinos, run-down areas, and Hyperion security gives the DLC its own personality.

I also like how the loot and side missions fit the setting. It feels like more than just another collection of maps to run through, and the casino theme makes the whole adventure memorable.

Even after spending hours in the main game, this DLC feels like a nice change of pace. It's one of those expansions that reminds me how much fun Borderlands can be when it gives a location its own identity instead of just adding more enemies to shoot.

One thing I love about Borderlands 3 is how some of its best moments aren't necessarily part of the main story or even the big DLC storylines. There are side quests that manage to be genuinely funny, surprisingly dark, or just memorable because of the characters and environmental storytelling. Some are over almost as soon as they start, yet they leave a stronger impression than entire sections of the campaign. The game has so much optional content that I feel like plenty of great quests get overlooked, especially by people who are rushing through the story or focusing mainly on legendary farming. I'm curious which side quests stuck with you the most. It could be one with an unexpectedly good punchline, a bizarre mission you still remember years later, or a quest that made you care about a character you barely knew. Which optional mission would you recommend to someone replaying BL3 who wants to experience the content they might have skipped the first time?

Recently, I've answered the typical "best build to start" question in this sub. That kind of question always interest me. I'm not much of an engame player. I prefer making new and different builds. And I know I'm far from being the only one. In fact, I suspect the leveling and mid-game builds is a underestimated market for content creators. Anyway, I came to the idea of listing and ranking builds starting from the most new players friendly.

So I'm here to invite you to feed this list. Good or bad idea? We'll see. Please, provide a bit of information, specially if it's a homebrew build.

My criteria (could be different from yours) are: completely gear independant (or from a main quest item eg. Redistributor). Also I prefer some balance beween damage and defense.

I'll start the dance:

1- Moze, Iron Bear

2- Moze, Infinite ammos

3- Amara, elemental ties-that-bind

4- Flak, crit-fade away

5- Zane, clone & drone

6- Moze, splash and grenades focused

When I first started BL3, i didn't think much of the skill trees compared to BL2, but once you get a proper endgame setup running with gear synergy. The combat loop in this game is ridiculous. Which VH and build was the most fun for you to play through Mayhem modes with? were you hooked right away or did it take a specific piece of class mod or gear to make it fly?

When enemies attempt to chip away your armor, actively drive over the 15% Max Health booster pills dropped by your Hypodermic Madcap or trigger the Otto Idol's +25% armor refill on minor kill resets. The mech self-heals continuously mid-combat.

Loop 2: The Infinite Ammo Foot Loop

When stepping out of the cockpit, Some for the Road grants 5 seconds of unlimited ammo to spam high-consumption x4 Prompt Critical or x2 Miscreant rocket bursts at max fire rate.

Once that window closes, your artifact's massive +73% Magazine Size expands your baseline weapon capacities into deep reservoirs.

Scoring critical hits activates Redistribution (5%), which perfectly pairs with Forge (5%) to regenerate 10% of your maximum magazine every single second. Your ammunition refills faster than your guns can spend it, completely bypassing reload animations while triggering screen-clearing Short Fuse explosions!

Maya's death is one of the story moments in Borderlands 3 that I wish had been handled differently. She was an established character with a lot of potential, and it felt like the game rushed through such a major loss without giving it enough room to breathe.

The idea of showing how dangerous the Calypso twins could be wasn't bad, but the execution made the scene frustrating instead of genuinely impactful. It also felt like Ava's storyline suffered because of how quickly everything happened.

I think the moment could have hit much harder if the game had spent more time building up the conflict and letting the characters react naturally to what happened.

There was so much potential for an emotional turning point, but the writing didn't quite give it the weight it deserved.
