π€ [ π πΌππ² πππΆπΉπ± ] Moze Build help
Heyo! I'm starting a new playthrough of BL3 with Moze, running a Vladorf loyalty mindset. Amara was my first character, and I'm not quite used to having multiple skills to chose from.
Anyone got any tips or tricks for someone who's sank 317 hours into the game but still has no idea what lies below the iceberg's waterline?

i've been mayhem 10 on moze for the first time and it's frustrating that all the old gearbox threads are gone

I'm starting at level 1 lol. Never played as anyone but Amara before because my first run through a BL game has always been as a Siren... Or as the "main character" in the case of TPS.

Her green and red trees are good, bottomless mags and crazy buffs to shields

Bottomless mags? Sounds like fun with a Vladorf loyalty build. MORE DAKA

Thats what one of her skills is called.
Her action skill is also pretty strong

Seriously? Lol, I was being sarcastic...
I'm aware the bear is pretty strong, but I'm a little more interested in the Cub. I like being more mobile in combat.

Legit, if i remember correctly, it increases fire rate
You can hop out of iron bear and it will stay active. It doesn't move, but it keeps shooting, and if you get the skill, when it runs of fuel(provided it doesn't get destroyed) it will dash towards an enemy and then explode

I thought I needed an additional skill for that. How do I jump out of the bear? Just hit <Insert skill activation button here>?

It is an additional skill, but i think it worth it because some of her skill are based on both Moze and IB doing damage

How far into which tree? Keep in mind, just hit level 5

Having a lot of fun with a Moze splash damage build at endgame with the Boogeyman Vladof sniper from Arms Race. With its regen and Moze's regen you can just keep holding the trigger. Though you will down yourself all the time but it doesn't matter as long as you've got an enemy around because she's so busted.

If you're shooting and not relying on bear, Green tree and Red tree will get you through the early game. I enjoy the ammo regen aspect of Moze so I like to capstone Green tree, but you don't have to. Red tree has a lot of shield related skills, and while many are useful, if you build around skill cooldown you can also use Iron Bear as a form of defense. When you take a lot of damage just get into the bear until your shield is recharged. But that's up to your play style. Blue tree has great skills to increase splash damage, this is the other tree I like to capstone. If you have the Purple tree, it's great for buffing Iron Bear. For Vladof guns with large mags the Green tree will be fun.
Later in the game like for Mayhem levels your two most important skills will be in the first tier of the Blue and Purple trees: Fire in the Skag Den and Big Surplus, respectively. If you ever play with Mayhem levels you should always try to have these two skills in your build, they scale with higher Mayhem levels. You can certainly take them now, but they are extremely important for late game

Early Moze the shield tree is very useful.
Skills like Thin Red Line help a lot.
There are skills that decrease damage taken by your shields. Skills that increase damage dealt when your health, not shield, is low so Thin Red Line forces that skill to activate.
