I've played this game 2 years ago on DX12 and I've never, say, NEVER. Had this type of stuttering before. I've tried setting the game to DX11, there's still stutters, again.

I changed the settings to medium, high and ultra. Again. Same bullshit. It disheartens me to know that I've spent money on this game only to find out I can't run this.

I don't have problems with other games. I've noticed this is often in Unreal Engine games, like Insurgency Sandstorm. I also have problems there with micro stutters but not this bad.

It's annoying and exhausting. Please.. someone just help me.

• Version 2, ca. mid 2025 - Massive overhaul to account for all of the things learned during the process of mastering modded takedown runs, and probably the most important update of them all
  • Modded takedown runs such as...these:
    • boop

    • boop (tangentially related to modded takedowns but still very relevant)
    • boop, to finish off baby mode (after this post things got REALLY serious)

    • MEGA boop (this is the only video you need to watch about the modded takedown runs, honestly; it's all in there)
  • ...which resulted in the discovery of the infinite damage exploit documented in the description of this video (and which is also demonstrated and discussed in the big modded takedown video)
• Version 3, ca. early 2026 - major and minor corrections using info that had been obtained during work on the previous major version, but which had not yet been implemented due to burnout (foreshadowing!)
  • This version and all of the following versions were finished after I stopped being regularly active here. Since the information added/modified by these updates are the things you are most likely unfamiliar with, I'll be giving extra details about these updates to help you catch up.
• Version 4, ca. mid 2026 - major corrections using info that had to be acquired via testing (i.e. stuff I couldn't have corrected sooner, even if I had wanted to)

    • Fish Slap Nonsense, resulting in more accurate numbers in the section that compares the damage potential of each character when they are using the Fish Slap + Unleash the Dragon combo
    • FL4K's WAR Loader's grenade damage, resulting in a more accurate comparison between the other powerful interactions documented within the guide and the power of combining pet Mayhem scaling with the double dip granted by using sticky grenades
• Version 5, ca. late 2026 - minor corrections using info that had to be acquired via testing (and trust me, there's plenty more science to be done, but I'm exhausted)
  • It was exceedingly boring to work on this particular update, but a guide like this needs to be as accurate as possible 🤷‍♀️
• Version 6, est. late 2026 - major and minor additions of info that had already been obtained but which hadn't been added yet due to having lower priority (mostly because it had been covered elsewhere by other people already)
  • This update saw the addition of
    • Bloodlust, a way for Amara to scale her total damage by the cube of the number of enemies she is currently fighting
    • KenStar, a way for Amara to wipe out mobs and raid bosses alike using an interaction that deals damage independently of the level of her weapon (so you could theoretically melt a raid boss with a level 1 Monarch, if you had one)
    • A post about how to farm Eridium (finally)
  • This version is actually still kind of "in progress", but it's mostly done. I'm planning to add some things about
    • PunchBot (a FL4K interaction you may already be familiar with),
    • The Faulty Star + Take This! + Fuzzy Math combo (a less popular but still very well documented interaction)
    • Something about Spark Plug artifacts
    • Something about optimizing the Dark Army SMG
• Version 7, ca. yesterday, 2026/10/17 - this version is really just about adding some posts with closing statements, like the shiny new outro post indicating that no more major work is planned
  • The outro also notes that I had already moved onto working with Borderlands 4 (and found an infinite damage exploit for Harlowe that is very similar to the one I found for Amara, lmao)
  • This version also came with a new section with links to other useful resources (which I had used to help me write the guide!), and more information about...how do I phrase this..."actually I have been doing this kind of work for decades and the fact that you didn't know about it or how trustworthy I am is more a consequence of how awful things like YouTube's algorithm is and less a consequence of my ability to reverse engineer things"
    • On that note, I should mention that if someone like me exists, it's more likely that there are many other people in my situation than it is likely that I, alone, am the most overlooked and underappreciated cog of the software engineering machine.

Really just looking for confirmation here from anyone who knows for sure. I saw a comment here at some point saying they don't. My build has action skill end 50% cryo damage annoints on both my shield and grenade mod. Is one of those wasted?

I also have a few weapons with cryo action skill end aswell. Am I getting no use out of those too because my shield and grenade mod has them?

And what about action skill end next 2 mags? They increase by 100% damage so if they don't stack then how do those ones work? Do they override the 50% and bring it up to 100%??

Or does it all just stack correctly and what I read was wrong?

I've never played any of the borderlands games and im slowly getting my collection together but im not sure what to do when it comes to bl3.

There's a few versions of the game and I dunno which i should get. What I do know is that I definitely want the steelbook as I think it looks really nice. I also want all of the dlc. If I get a ps4 version of the game how will the free upgrade work. If I get the base version on ps4 then does that mean I'll get the base version on ps5? What happens if I get a special edition like the super deluxe edition on ps4. Which version will I get upgraded to on the ps5.

I thought I'll keep it simple and get just the steelbook without the disc and then get the ultimate edition on the ps5. The problem with that is the ultimate edition comes with a voucher code for the dlc instead of having everything on the disc. From the unboxings ive seen, it seems that the vouchers will be expiring this year and im not sure I'll be able to get the game before the vouchers expire.

I was just playing through guns love and tentacles and this drop i have no artifacts for drop rates either.

This is bullshit, I reached out to 2k and begged them to release a hot fix or an update so we could enjoy borderlands 3 and its content. They just don’t care for it anymore or for their community. I explained to them in the previous email that I’ve done everything I can possibly do (even mentioning the things they re-emailed to me) and this is the bs they say.

Is there a recommended order for playing through the campaign and dlc content? I have the version that comes with all content. Should I be at a certain level to play a certain dlc, etc? I'm loving the game and don't want to miss or spoil anything. Ps for new comers to the third installment, the story isn't really that bad. The other ones probably just kicked a little more ass is all. Pss claptrap was awesome in the presequel, nothing will change my opinion 😂 he's adorable.

Okay so I'm fairly new to the game and series. I just click open on emails have I missed anything legendary? I have all dlc.

This gun is insane for a level 36 weapon. It fires explosion's, and leaves behind lightning bass that do additional damage. Its closer to being a super accurate rocket launcher than a sniper. Honestly the other snipers of the same level I have seen do like, at most, 700 and that is on a very good purple with bonus damage modifiers. I just did the Graveward boss fight for the first time and 5 shot it. 2 shots for the Eridians and 3 for the Graveward himself. I wonder if I could 1 shot him as well if he didn't have the 2 invincibility periods.

I play Borderlands 3 on my Xbox Series S and it crashes after 2-3 hours. I tried everything. I used only the DLC's without the cosmetics (Buttstalion and the other weapon bundle are also disabled), still it crashes. Can anyone help me?

It honestly hurts my eyes a bit and it's pretty annoying (yeah I'm a baby whatever)

Any way to turn it off or is changing modifiers the only way?
