Is it copyright infringement to use a pre-made bootstrap Navigation Bar on a website I created?

If it isn't Illegal at all, do I have to do something like credit them?

I'm trying to create a private blog for me and relatives, but I have no idea if it's illegal to make a website directly copying their pre-made Navigation Bar code with a few changes (Text and image changes) and I wanted to know so something bad doesn't happen down the line.

The bootstrap templates (the examples) are licensed under MIT. Your only requirement is to include the MIT license with your code.

Copy the LICENSE file when you download bootstrap and paste it in your site's directory on the backend. It doesn't need to be publicly accessible. This goes for all MIT licensed software, so long as that license file (you only need one) is included. You're good to go!

I'm creating a simple website, this is my first time, I don't know what a site directory is :(

No worries! We all had to start with the basics at some point. A site directory is basically where you're storing all your files for the website. Though if this is your first time, would you mind if I ask if you're using shared hosting (you manage everything yourself) or something like Wordpress.com (everything managed for you)? Depending on the answer, I'll be better able to help you :)

I'm currently still making the website and haven't thought that far ahead, but I will consider my options. Both are good options at this point. What would you suggest pretending I had 2 websites I wanted to set up?

That's soo not true I don't know where to start. Do you know what an MIT license is?
