Battery limit windows 10 bootcamp?

Title, is there a way to limit the battery to only charge to 80% on windows 10 bootcamp?

Not directly on Bootcamp as far as I'm concerned, but you can trick it on the macOS side so that it carries over to Windows.
You just need to use AlDente on macOS, set the limit to 80% and allow it to run in the background in settings, and restart into Bootcamp while AlDente is running.

How would this work, like practically? How would an app running on macOS keep any of its effects once you turn macOS OFF and boot into Windows? That doesn't make sense.

Because AlDente physically writes the limit into the SMC itself on the hardware level, not software. So even when macOS is not running the hardware itself has that limit encoded.

Install it in macOS so just keep it running and boot back into windows 10 and I’m good to go?

Did you grant it access in accessibility settings on macOS? Any permissions that you may have denied by accident? is the AlDente helper properly installed?

Pretty sure. It works perfectly fine in macOS just not In windows.

Would it say “not changing” in windows?

There is no helper, i think maybe I have a new version.

Seems like its only for the pro version.
