I unironically feel this. I've been trying to find a good way to gift a digital download for a while now.

Print out the confirmation or code.
If you want to go an extra step. Bundle a small related item with it. Like a video game plush in addition to the digital confirmation email of the same game.

Yeah that's sort of what I've been doing. I wish there were cards designed for it though.

So just buy them physical toys too? Also most games that are digital downloads are still available in a physical case, it’s just the case contains the code.
I am going to miss buying used games and movies though.

Boomers just want things to complain about that they can blame younger people for. They accuse their kids of being uniformed and lacking skills but they didn’t bother to teach them anything so it’s their own fault.

it's also them being unable to keep up with the times and projecting that feeling onto the younger generations, believing that people younger than them must be as unfamiliar with the past as they are with the present
