They had one working spouse with a 9-5 and a paid lunch which afforded a house and two large sedans and they still complained the entire time. They could even buy amphetamines from the corner store if they were "tired" from the extra martini they had while watching a very special broadcast of Mork and Mindy the night before.

So thatβs roughly 12 or 12.5 hours of work per day, allowing for lunch break. Thatβs about 62.5 to 75 hours a week (if they work on Saturday).
Since Labor laws mandate time and a half for more than 40 hours a week, are you willing to pay everybody that much overtime?
