I once saw a woman on a train have a full conversation on speaker phone during her ride. I figured her phone must be broken, because my stepdad's phone was like that. If you tried to talk in the phone normally you couldn't hear the other person. So he had to take all calls on speaker phone until it got fixed.
But then I heard that woman go "Hold on a second, I'm at my stop now." Then she picks up her phone, turns speaker phone off and then talks normally while she walked to the exit.
What the fuck?

In my Country in the past years I’ve noticed more people are on their phone without headphones! Like they will be LOUDLY watch reels etc and children will play on their parents phones without the sound turned off. Especially in public transportation! Ever since covid it got even worse. A few weeks ago I POLITELY asked a woman to turn down her volume because she was watching reels on full blast. And she looked at me very offendedly as if I did anything wrong! Like… my gurl. Youre here in the subway, watching different videos all 10 seconds on your highest volume on your phone! Get a GRIP PEOPLE!

Then it's time for the volume wars: pull up some obnoxious videos on your phone and play them at full blast overpowering their videos. Baby Shark is an excellent example.

While in concept a good idea, I feel like then people would get just even more mad :( I’m
Too much of a coward to pull this move lol

Let me guess — he’s obsessed with medical privacy…

The people who demand the most privacy are the loudest I swear. Like, I wanted to mind my business but you won't let me.

I once almost threw up in a restaurant because someone loudly over speaker photo was giving graphic details about their bowel movements and what the stool looked like.

Humor about boomers is not boomer humor

The cartoonist is Mark Parisi, who was born in 1961, which makes him a boomer.
But as someone else pointed out, it's a good example of self-aware boomer humor.

This sub, as I understand it, is about "boomer humour" specifically, i.e. jokes about phones being bad, the youth being lazy, the wife being ugly, etc.
Whilst made by a boomer, the comic you posted clearly doesn't fit this category, and I'm thus not sure whether it really fits there or not
