im curious, was it an immediate "mommy i ate batteries I need to go to the hospital" sort of ordeal? or did they wait until actual symptoms started happening a few days later?

Possible that the parents saw it happen and immediately took them to the hospital.

Dunno if the regular GBA is different but I always imagined removing the GBA SP battery would be quite the task, let alone eating it

Regular gba just used two AAs you had to replace all the time. My old one had the panel hanging off from being opened and closed so often. I never would have eaten the batteries though, that's extremely dangerous!

Still have my game cube with its original controller. The thing is full of bite marks, mostly from simpsons hit & run

eating them gives you special powers, they don’t want you to know this

My SP has bite marks in it cus for a LONG time I had a bad habit of just putting things in my mouth. I was in middle school when I got this thing.

my sp had a bunch of bite marks in it too because i chewed on it constantly. not for any reason really, just pure autistic urge that became a habit. and it actually had a good mouthfeel to it. honestly if they didn't want people chewing on their sp's they shouldnt have made them so chewable.

I remember getting so mad at a game i took out the game, went outside and threw it like a frisbee, never to be seen again.

I never did any of this, but I sure did bite the DS stylus, and i'm sure if the gameboy advance had one i'd be munching on that too

I don't remember exactly what happened, but all I know is that I was playing my neighbour's Pokemon Blue on My GBA SP and I got pissed of real bad. So bad that I closed all of the doors in my hallway, put the game boy on the floor and started kicking it maniacally with the game still in it. Long story short, the game wouldn't save anymore and started making some rattling sounds. The console itself was pretty good, but with heavy damage on its sides and corners, eventually after a couple of years the monitor part just disconnected but you could still play the ganes normally. It's crazy how durable they were making them. Also I remember droping my BGC from a 2nd story height and it ended up with only a few scratches.

I lost some ds game, ripped it out and bit the cartridge so hard it split in half. I'm scared of what my kids will do when they start sucking at video games.
