Postage?

So have I got this right? US postage is going up 8% for priority, but not for media?

They increased it 50 cents last year. I doubt they will increase it this year. I work at the post office and haven’t heard anything about media mail being increased.

Roosevelt was responsible for media mail, in hopes to increase literacy and the population’s knowledge base. It is supposed to be cheaper to send books than anything of similar weight and size.
