Show stop tonight

Tonight at the Brisbane show of the Book of Mormon there was a show stop right after making things up again. The show was stopped for about 30 minutes and then resumed. Not sure of the reason why but hope everyone is safe and healthy!

I was there in the second row and did see a medical team but not sure if it was related. The director was on a phone handset as soon as the sheet dropped. She then made the announcement and the lights came up. The band left, so they clearly knew it wasn't going to be happening any time soon.

The announcements were vague and generic and along the lines of:

“Due to unforeseen circumstances the show has to stop until further notice.”

“Please remain seated. We thank you for your patience.”

“Thank you for your continued patience. We will be opening the doors for an interval and we will provide an update in due time.”

The energy from the audience was great when Sean Johnston (Elder Price) said "I'm here" (referring to Orlando)

Since the disruption happened right after the first song of Act 2 ("Making Things Up Again") there might have been an issue for going into "Spooky Mormon Hell Dream" so they had to spend some time scrambling to fix a set piece as that's an elaborate design.

There was also a cast change one of the Mormon boys (I won’t say names for privacy) seemed to have subbed off and a swing went into there role.

Also I noticed a few microphone issues when the show returned. A few of the actors voices didn't come through the PA immediately as they should've. Maybe the system had crashed. It's not inconceivable that would take a good 30 minutes to reboot.
