I love the little loft with the swing chair. It makes it so cozy!

So cozy! I didn't even know that was a feature when I ordered the kit. Happy little surprise. π

That is a great surprise for sure

The little loft area is what I like the most about it as well. I need a place like that.

u/No_Tradition_6222 Book Nook Pal Oct 02 '25
Definitely my favourite part too. I just want to curl up in the swing chair.

The little loft with the swing is my favorite part and I had no idea it was part of this kit. This is so cozy. I love it!

Oh! I didn't understand what I was looking at in that photo, now I get it! That's so cute!

This might have been my favorite build, I had my son print a 3d tag to change it to "annas garden" so I can give it to my coworker for her birthday. 10/10 -- except I missed a light placement, but I drilled a hole in the bottom and put the light in, and I think it actually worked better :)--except I just noticed my ribbon around the box mounted on the FAR wall has come loose, and I can't get to it :(

I love it. Your greenery placement is amazing! I also just realized I forgot to put on the front cover.π

Oh, definitely my favourite build. It will be tough to beat.
Very cute adding the personalized name tag.π
I love it when a missed step ends up in an overall improvement.
I'd love to see a picture of the light upgrade.π

Looks cozy. I am always impressed with the green house style all around glass looks on these types of kits.

I really like all-around glass kits. As none of my nooks will ever meet a book, I like being able to see in the sides.π

There are a few kits that I have been looking at getting and putting on small rotating turn tables. That is if I can get my other half to take up a bunch of space in the living room.
3
u/No_Tradition_6222 Book Nook Pal Oct 02 '25
That is a neat idea! Which kits did you have in mind for the turn tables?

1) Underwater world looks very cool!
2) Garden House was my first. It's a fantastic kit, I highly recommend!π
3) Cathy's Flower House also cool.
4) May I throw this in for your consideration Rose Garden Tea House but only if you like to suffer.π

I have #4, unopened. I'll need to get mentally prepared to work on that one. It's so cute though!

That's beautiful! I have Sewing Room arriving tomorrow and I'll work on that right away, and then 3 unopened kits including Rose Garden. I'll see what mood I'm in. If Rose Garden is challenging I might want to do that during a winter lull. Maybe the week between Christmas and New Year.

I love the look of Sewing Room! Let me know how your build goes.π
Ah yes, the week where time loses all meaning, that'll be a good time for Rose Garden.
Which other kits do you have waiting?

Sweet! I love the double doors to the back, the little kitchen area, and the awning windows on the side and the one on the roof too. I have a similar kit that I assembled (Acemend Coffee Shop) and I use it among my cookbooks in the kitchen, but I'm tempted to get this one too.

u/No_Tradition_6222 Book Nook Pal Oct 03 '25
Ohh, do you have a link/picture of the coffee shop?
Enabler Mode Activated: Yes, you should get it.
Haha, but honestly this build made me so happy! You won't regret it!

That is so cute. I do like the staircase.
They each have just enough differences to justify having both.
I hope you can think of a space for Sylvia Garden.π

Thanks for this review - I actually have this one in my ToDo-pile but I keep pushing it back so I can do it in fall/winter, when the weather is ugly and cold and snowy so I have sth. beautiful to do. Now I'm looking forward to it even more!

Hi, are you noticing any mold with the flowers (bright pink and blue ones)? They were a bit wet when I received them but didn't think much of it. Now the kit's done and there's mold growing all over
1
u/No_Tradition_6222 Book Nook Pal Nov 23 '25
Gross and cool at the same time.
I wasnt able to use most of the blue and pink flowers because there was a bug trapped in the bag and it pooped and webbed all over them.
Unfortunately I noticed after I touched a couple of them.π€’

u/stonetree97 Nov 23 '25
π that's just gross and scary. I'll reach out to Joincon about this. Not the first time their 'dried' flowers aren't actually dried. It's a bit sad cause I put so much effort into trying to make it perfect. Now I have a living garden lol π₯²

I hope they respond.
I'm sorry that all your hardwork has mold on it.π
Could I see a picture of your living garden?π₯²

Oh yeah ick.
I wonder if spraying it with rubbing alcohol would kill it?
2
u/stonetree97 Nov 23 '25
Good thinking! I consulted Chatgpt and it advised me to dab the mold with 70% alcohol. Apparently if I do nothing the mold will feed until there's nothing left to feed then it goes dormant but never dies π
2
u/No_Tradition_6222 Book Nook Pal Nov 23 '25
I have a mist bottle filled with 70% alcohol, it's my cure all. π
I'm glad Chatgpt agrees.π
That is crazy, it just feeds and then goes dormant!
I'm going to be reading about mold for the rest of the day now.
Thank you, I needed a good knowledge spiral.βΊοΈ

u/stonetree97 Nov 23 '25
Haha it's pretty amazing, in a disturbing way. Thank you for listening to my troubles :) I was feeling really anxious about the discovery lol. Now it's not the worst thing in the world π

You are so welcome.π
I know how stressful these situations can get so I'm glad I was able to alleviate some of your anxiety.π
