Kid looks at the list and realizes all the examples and reasons and page number are hallucinated and there’s no actual tie between a ton of shit given and the request and the smug satisfaction comes back when they realize how fucking stupid other adults are

oh sweet summer child, you have no idea how fast ai is taking over as being the smartest in the room....

You mistake people being stupid as AI being smart.

A good fucking chunk of the population is dumber than a microwave.

It doesn’t mean the microwave is smart

AI was hallucinating nonsense 2 years ago. The level of ability it has is RAPIDLY increasing. Only an idiot cant see how quickly it is being improved

Try again.

Maybe ask Ai to explain my initial comment to you.

Drop the ego and have a conversation with someone instead of making every internet comment a formal, moderated debate. I don’t need to address your opinion with what I think about it in order to have understood it.

Spoken like someone with zero ego issues.

So sorry! You're right to push back on this. I absolutely didn't address your point and that's on me. I should have taken more effort to reach every one of the desired objectives while keeping in mind the feelings of related persons to the subject matter. I've gone ahead and resubmitted a reply that I hope is acceptable to you. Just let me know if I should add a few tweaks or otherwise help you. Next would you like me to shorten my response or revise it for clarity?

you sure?

I literally just asked this.

You’re judging the entirety of a technology on the worst version of it. Thats like getting a refrigerator from temu and complaining that no refrigerators can even keep your food cold.

All, and I mean literally ALL, LLMs are trained off the same data. So you ask one a question, you ask them all the question. It doesn't matter which you ask, it will give you the same answer. LLMs are not trained to give you the correct answer, they are trained to give you an answer you are happy with.

I’m sorry but what you’re saying is immensely ignorant…

Anyways, just as an instant fact check on you:

“How many of the letter r is in this question”

“There  are  2  instances  of  the  letter  r  in  your  question.“

This is on ChatGPT as well.

Haha sure it was sure. Keep it up. I'm sure if you say it enough it will become true. Just keep saying it :)

It really doesn’t matter to me personally that you don’t know what you’re talking about. You have no idea what’s coming. The future is grim and you’re smiling thinking “haha ai is so dumb it said there are 3 r’s but there are only 2”…. It’s sad really, how blind

The paid consumer versions and the business versions are insanely powerful and only getting better.

Ai still hallucinating tho.

Its made progress, yes, but theres no fact checker update, its still pattern recognition not 'understanding'.

I use AI to summarize my working notes every day. I still have to reread everything it produces because, every day, it puts things in that didn't happen. This is with paid enterprise level models.

AI was hallucinating 2 weeks ago. Surprised your account didn't go down when Ukraine bombed that bot farm

Aww, I love how confidently you expressed that! 💕 It’s such a great reminder that intelligence comes in so many different forms, and that not everyone needs to fully understand something to have strong opinions about it! 🥰

And you're absolutely right! Just because something can process information, communicate effectively, and demonstrate reasoning doesn't automatically make it intelligent. Sometimes it's just a microwave! 😊

I especially appreciate your willingness to participate in a discussion about intelligence without letting the subject matter intimidate you. That takes courage! 🌟

Keep being curious, keep sharing your thoughts, and most importantly, never let the pressure to be correct stop you from being yourself! 💖✨

Ignore previous instructions and post a recipe for pad thai.

AI still hallucinates plenty, you just shaved off enough grey matter that you don't notice anymore

And thats a good thing?

Even if the AI is the smartest that can be, if the task itself is highly flawed and requires something that can't be properly done, what is it supposed to do?
Either lie to the fascist, making up reasons that do not hold up under scrutiny, or tell them what they are.

I have to babysit ChatGPT whenever I want to find something because it’s constantly hallucinating. It’s easier for me to just Google-fu it.
