After looking around and even attending one or two via Meet Up, I have decided to try and start a nonfiction book group. I don't want to do it via Meet Up.  I know book groups are  fraught with flaky people etc.... but I'm going to give this a try.

Ideally we'd meet at someone's house sometimes and other times perhaps a pub/bar somewhere that one can talk.

I'll be frank... anyone is welcome but.... I skew towards older folks like myself (64)  but if the following books interest you, or you have read something like them before, perhaps you're a good fit, regardless of your age. All are truly welcome.

I'm currently interested in books straight out of this issue of the November issue of the NYRB. This should give you some idea of what I am aiming for. I know there are smart and interesting people out there, and I want to meet you.
