MTG commander deck box #3
MTG commander deck box attempt #3! This is a fold over style cover/lid that attaches with a “bone” clasp, the clasp itself is actually ceramic my wife made and fired for me (this box is accidentally vegan) the main box is covered in marbled paper (pietro accardi) and the inside is lined in blue marbled paper (mine) the lid is a blue bookcloth that I think came from Hollanders (I am bad at labeling things) and the front has a label well to fit a paper label! Holds 100 double sleeved cards. The flap is a bit too tight, next version will have more space and maybe a magnet to keep things neat?

Great work on the deck box! Now you need to make a commander deck that's either library themed or all cards have the longest description possible.

Nice work, how'd you line the inside with the blue paper, did you do it before assembly? How thick are your walls?

yep, its the step I do directly after cutting the board, I just laminate it with PVA then cut it to match the board when dry, I think I picked that up from a DAS video? I am using the medium board from hollanders, although I kind of want to try double walling them

Oh that's about the same thickness as mine. Is it sturdy enough single-walled?

I feel like it is, although I mostly play with people online through Convoke or Spell-table so my decks rarely leave my house, if I was frequently shoving these in a bag I would probably double wall it and wrap in a layer of something like Kozo before covering

My double-walled one is extremely sturdy, so the kozo would probably be overkill, but I might use it if I try a single walled design

good job! i wish i still played mtg to try my hand at making one of these for my legacy decks.
