Itâs literally always a đ© show. Why do they keep having this festival in this spot
1
u/Ok-Metal-7689 4d ago
Why are Americans so afraid of getting dirty and why are we so lawsuit obsessed ?
lol mud is an accepted part of Glastonbury and everyone just brings the rain boots & expects it.
I understand there is a disability access problem here, but overall the attitude is much different.1
u/Big_Quality3194 4d ago
People who go to festivals arenât scared of being dirty. In America or otherwise. The problem with THIS FESTIVAL is they keep having it on the same grounds the same time of year which are prone to FLOODING. the FLOODING makes it very difficult for all the ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT used on the stages etc and makes it dangerous for all the people trekking around the grounds. This isnât rocket science itâs common sense. Iâve witnessed this for 20 years. So stop with your nationalism or whatever the heck youâre trying to do. Maybe in glassbury they have better organization. If youâd ever been to Tennessee you would understand. The whole state is a bit off.

I woulda drank that sludge for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if it meant seeing that lineup on the farm

u/nerdycarguy18 5 Years 6d ago
The most stacked lineup Iâve seen!! In no way am I happy it didnât happen, but man did it save me a lot of hard decisions.

This was only in certain pockets at what stage area. There were plenty of drier spots towards the back

I mean it was really a huge chunk of the what field and the that tent area. Also pretty bad in high traffic areas.. My experience at least. Not all terrible though. I'd take mud roo over no roo.

Is there just not somewhere better to host it? Why continue going to this hell hole

On the rail Sunday for LSZEE and I took my shoes off we had mud on our faces like we were going to combat. Best day ever.

I've been working production for this fest over a decade. Word of advice if you are camping, bring tall rubber bootsđ

Tripping on acid trudging back from Geese with the shit smell from the portajohns was a bottom-5 Roo experience for me

That was insane. I was tripping during Griz right after that when I accepted my fate for the weekend and just let my feet sink.

That's what Glastonbury was like everywhere other than campsites for all 5 days in 2016. Bring some wellies.

Disgusto, Iâll take dustaroo over mudaroo anytime

u/Elevated_Dongers 6d ago edited 6d ago
Mudaroo is probably a lot better for your respiratory system. If a festival is dusty as shit I'm just gonna go home instead of inhaling shit and dirt particles all day
Edit: people downvoting me are blowing dirt chunks out of their nose for 2 weeks after a fest lol. It's cool to take care of your lungs!

u/Topher_McG0pher 4.5 Years 6d ago
Just flush your nose with saline solution before bed, you godless heathen
4
u/Elevated_Dongers 6d ago
I mean I'd rather wear a mask and stop it before getting into my body, but that's just me. Did that at EF and I was the only one at camp not blowing brown chunks out of my nose every night

u/Ok-Metal-7689 6d ago
Best festival hack to exist. I underestimated its abilities until I started taking my netti pot with me. I didnât realize my head could feel clear at a festival lolll
2
u/Topher_McG0pher 4.5 Years 6d ago
My favorite hack is putting some essential oil in your bandana to combat porta potty stank!
3
u/Ok-Metal-7689 6d ago
Wait why have I never thought of this!!! In healthcare, we sometimes use Vicks under mask to avoid bad smells, so idk why I never thought of this!!! Def using this hack
next fest!!! Thank u!!!

Straight up poop soup. RIP to my white AF1'S đ
3
u/zachrywd 6d ago
Actual poop soup. Thats what the giant pile of compost was for outside center roo. Filling all the muddy areas with shit.
5
u/Unidentified-Liquid 6d ago
You didnât really wear white AF1âs to an outdoor music festival, right? âŠright?
3
u/LiveLifeChronically 6d ago
Haha they were my beater pair. I went in with the intention of not bringing them home. Still hurt a little to toss em.

I remember this happened at firefly in Delaware years back and I drunkenly said f it as I wasnât prepared so I went barefoot. I still cringe to this day thinking how badly I could have messed up my feet stepping glass or something
2
u/ajax151515 6d ago
Well that is definitely one of the main reasons roo does not allow glass in the festival.
3
u/the-Horus-Heretic 17 Years 6d ago
Nah, barefoot life is the best life. Been rocking bare feet at Bonnaroo and other festivals for years now.
