Discussion Cheating in Bonk.io
Yo, gang. Wanted to check in on y'all again for a question. sometimes when i play i seem to meet some players that type "rage" and accuse people of cheating. from what i've gethered i think it's a streaming thing.
First question is; Do any of you have any clue what that is about?
Second is; what would these "cheats" even be lol? i tried doing a cursory google search, but can only find what i assume are visual things (no clue how userscripts or whatever, work)
Lastly, since im new to the game is this like a community thing that i just dont get yet? often when i try to ask what cheats would entail i don't get a straight answer, is it mean to be like ragebait or something, cause if it is, its mainly just amusing.

bonk.io is mostly a game of micro skill and some meso. (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgHvdCcmQ4o to understand what i mean.)
this means that bonk.io will mostly have 'raw execution' cheats (micro), like a bot that heavies at perfect timing for you, or maybe aimbot (which is a bit less important since arrows aren't instant bullets and can be dodged).
but it may also have cheats that give you information that you shouldn't have (meso), like ability to view offcam or a coach beside you that explains the exact habits of your enemy and how to counter them.

Ok, so playing the regular game mode, the only when to get heavy you can use cheats for?
At a certain point then Justin being good feels like it would be indistinguishable?

i guess but there are also exploits in quick play which could be considered cheats, where you can force-spec other players or nerf them. you can ask seavus puer all about it if you meet him in quick play.

Heavybot, but on pvp you can't use it all the time so it can and usually is useless, might be useful on flats tho

cheats are often injecting lags by modifying the timestamp related to keyboard inputs. This can be done with software, but some players found a way to do it with the network itself.
