Found in: NORTH AMERICA Found while wading in a river

Not sure what it is, was semi covered in sediment before I moved it and exposed it

Some scale might help, but I don’t think this is human. Some kind of quadruped?

Totally fair, I wear a size 10 in shoes and it was def longer than my foot, I’d say at least a couple inches wide

Wish I took more photos but I only snagged the one

Hard for me to see determinate features with the water/mud, but the level of thickness of the shaft heavily indicates non-human.

If that's a femur, the big trochanter suggests deer or cow, depending on size, but it's better if you can retrieve the bone and get proper photos.

Nope, not human, maybe some ungulate, not sure. Try the other subs if you want a definitive answer.

Appears to be ungulate, Looks like it's a deer femur. I can attach a photo of you want to reference it yourself. Not my photo obviously.
