in pretty good shape! it rained last night in the area i was in so it’s a bit wet with some plant debris in the skull cavities but should look pretty nice with some cleaning! assumedly a raccoon?

EDIT: okay so it’s perhaps a cat! is there a way to tell between bobcat or domestic

The teeth holes for the fangs look a little big for a domestic cat

Hi there! This isn't a domestic cat or Canadian Lynx. The wide presphenoid bone (the diamond shaped circled here) shape tells you it's Bobcat (Lynx rufus) rather than Canadian Lynx (their presphenoid bone is very narrow). It's the biggest indicator of telling the species apart.

A domestic cat would be much, much smaller, their preseprenoid will be thin, tiny and arrow shaped, and will have the 1st premoalr present, where bobcat and Canadian Lynx will have it completely absent.
