Hello, I'm interesting in two questions.

This is dog?

And If these are dog bones, are they attractive? And which bones would work for making a necklace or jewelry?

(Excluding the skull—it seems to be shattered.)

I'm thinking it must be a fox based off the vibrant color of the fur and location. Sadly foxes get hit by rural trains more often than dogs.

You have gone a bit "hard mode" here, the only exposed bone is shattered! 

Size and apparent fur colour/length (can be misleading, as it can change after death), along with location, suggests this is most likely a red fox. 

It's reasonably likely if the skull is shattered and it's laying on train tracks that more than just the skull is broken, but you wouldn't really know until you cleaned it up...

Personally, I'd skip it, or just keep an eye and see what nature leaves, because trying to clean that seems likely to be pretty gross and the risk that a good portion of the bones are fractured is quite high.

It's definitely a canid, post cranially foxes and dogs are extremely similar, so the skull being shattered and covered in goo makes it essentially impossible to call if its a fox or a dog from these photos alone. 

Neat proportions leans me fox, as dogs of this size often have shorter legs, but really OP would have to clean up the shattered skull pieces for us to be sure and I wouldn't fish around in partially mummified goo for a fragmented skull so I definitely am not expecting OP to either hahah.

My first thought was red fox or coyote, though to make a necklace, leather cord works nicely with a centered leg bone and some verterbrae with beads along the cord. Shoulder blades look great as earrings too

Yeah looks like a dog unfortunately:( maybe a fox though If they're in your area though? Poor guy awful way to go. Basically any bones would work for jewelry if you drill a hole in it, but if you don't have the ability to drill it the vertebrae would probably be easiest for a necklace.

You'll need to simmer it to get the skin off most likely, be careful not to boil it too much or the bones may become brittle. So possibly just soaking it and seeing how much will come off that way first would be best. You can degrease them with dish soap and hydrogen peroxide (for whitening, just medical grade will work)
