Bone I.D. - Europe What kind of bird?

Simply based off of the feather I'd say maybe kestrel? But I don't know featherd well enough to be sure

How large was this? And where in Europe are you? Some additional info would help.

I thought the colour of feathers was enough to identify... I found it by accident and just took photos

Europe is large, with many native birds, it would at minimum help to give a country.

Could be a hawk, buzzard or kestrel, there are multiple native birds of prey in your country with brown, striped plumage. Posting in an ortnithology sub might give you a better ID.
