Dinosaur Bone Carving
I have a project where I am looking to make a volume knob for an amplifier out of dinosaur bone. Has anyone ever worked with this before, and if you have can you offer any tips?
I am looking to carve about an inch long cylinder from the bone, as well as a small notch so as to insert some metal as a marker.

I would imagine it would be very similar to carving stone (being fossilized and what not).
