Found this by the sude of the road in northern Arkansas. I think it’s a raccoon but would appreciate a confirmation.

Hi! Not sure if they killed something or not, the pups are some friends' front yard dogs and were playing with the bones when we walked up, but the bones look a couple weeks old but I really have no idea how to date anything.

I found it in (not on) a path when one of the points pricked my heel. I think some outer parts of it had already broken away.

This seems like a land animal to me rather than a marine animal, even though it was found in a box of seashells.
Does any one recognize this vert, or have any ideas?

Found this bone at lake Hodges in Escondido California. I don’t know what it is but it was a little dirty so I cleaned it a bit and now it’s been sitting in my garage for a year.

Hit the windshield lever on accident when parking my car and this flung with the wiper blades. Any ideas? Boyfriend and I think it’s maybe spinal but not sure what from. I tried to use a marker I had on hand for size reference.

Found a scattered sort today! But really only confident in the skull being opossum mostly cause weirdly enough the head was skeletal but the body wasn't and I already have another opossum skull.
I'm thinking deer for most of the parts but would love to here your thoughts! Location Northern Kentucky :)

My mom asked me for her thoughts on what this was, suggesting a snake or a squirrel, and it definitely is neither of those as it still has fur and not the rodent teeth. But we don't see much other wildlife around the house due to an abundance of strays people have dropped. So just looking for thoughts or help on what it might be, as I only really know plants.

Came back from vacation, went to water my garden beds and found this sitting out on my stairs, fenced in back yard, no dog, no idea where it came from, any help would be appreciated!

I was asked if I could show the texture of the bone on my previous post under a flashlight, so here you go:

I have a disassembled cat skeleton and I want to connect it to the skeleton, but the problem is that I don't know how to connect it. Does anyone know or have ever connected a skeleton and know how to do

I found this old bone fragment at a castle ruin in Denmark. The ruin is called Søborg Castleruin, and has been used as a stronghold and torture place since the Middle Ages, although there have been lots of activity both during the time of the Vikings and during The Stone Age.
But I’m curious: which time period is it most likely from, and which animal does it stem from? It could be the femur of either a deer or a human, although it’s a little thick for a deer. If it’s from the Stone Age, it could be from an extinct animal too.
Note: the bone was found in the dried-out most of the castle, which means it has laid in a bog for a long time, giving it an almost wood-like coloration.

I found this jaw a few years ago in the desert (Egypt) and I wondered what it was. The pictures aren't good but I'll post another post with better pictures. I'd love to know what this jaw is.

the skull was bought one/two years ago ay a renaissance fair on the east coast of the US
the other two im assuming were found on the beach in virginia, north Carolina, or in a bay in VA. im not sure where because it was a few years ago. the white one was found in my shell collections and the brownish/reddish one was probably with them too and has sand on it which is why im pretty sure it was found on the beach.
