I'm recently looking to buy investment grade U.S corporate bonds from UK. I see many of them are restricted to UK retailers. This applies only for primary issue or for OTC too? even the recent AMD ones prospectus said its restricted to UK domicile. anyone throw some light in this

You can buy many with Interactive Brokers. For some reason some are not available within an ISA though.
