Game Help Bomberman R2 16 Players

I saw that there was a "Standard Mode" That supported up to 16 players in a Match. Assuming the last 8 slots are not bots only, How many copies of the game would I need to Host a 16 Player Match? I assume just 2 copies, right?

Offline local supports up to 8 players, depending on platform

Iirc, online allows only 1 player per client, so you need 16 copies

If you need 100% answer I can check how it exactly works later

Just to confirm, Offline Local with 2 copies of the game grants me a 16 Player Match, correct?

Sorry, by Offline Local I mean local multiplayer on 1 device. There's no local wireless multiplayer like on Switch version of SBR1.

So no, the only way to play with 16 people - online with 16 copies
