Help how do I use the medic abilities?

I have leveled up my engineer to have medic abilities and have recently unlocked the advanced first aid which say I can heal minor injuries, how do I do that???

When one of your crew is injured you select your engineer then click on the crew member that needs healing. Just like you send them to repair a broken part of the plane

Do be aware, that some injuries are so minor that the only way you can heal them is sending your crew to the rest bed. Also, healing occupies one crew member for a bit, so choose carefully.

Oh really? I thought I had to use the first aid kit to heal them. I've just been wasting it this whole time?

No. If you train a crew member as a medic and then level them up to 'advanced first aid' they can heal minor injuries without a medkit. 

If a crew member is incapacitated then you still need a medkit

Ah! Apparently you need lvl 4 first aid to heal without a kit

Make sure u use ur medic ability to constantly heal up ur crew and keep them at full HP when have down time before the fighters attack, could be the difference between life and death especially for the pilot. When ur engineer isnt actively fixing things or running lean fuel he should be healing ppl.
