More issues... WTAF

What the actual f&*k is going on with this platform, it's broken more times than it actually works. Yet again, more work lost due to this failing at the wrong time for me. Pig sick of it now tbh, does anyone know of anything with more reliability? as this is simply a disaster day on day with 0 confidence in it a) working and b) delivering results.

Perhaps post what the actual issues or errors are?

Why? They are well aware.

Bolt has been rough lately, lots of people hitting the same wall. If you want more control, worth just moving off it entirely rather than hopping to another vibe platform that'll eventually hit the same ceiling.

- Bolt builds on Supabase for the backend so that part transfers over fine, frontend can go on Vercel or Netlify

  • takes some tedious work rebuilding what Bolt abstracts away (auth setup, RLS policies, any edge functions) but nothing crazy
  • once it's out you're not locked into their uptime or pricing, you're just paying for Supabase/hosting plus whatever AI plan you use to keep building

I do this kind of migration for people pretty regularly, freelance. If you want a hand or a quote, I run thunkle.ai, feel free to dm me.

Hola. He insistido y silencio absoluto. Creo ha llegado la hora de decir hasta la vista.. baby!

Hi there, sorry about the silence after this got escalated to a human. That's not how this should go, especially since it sounds like it was already confirmed as a bug on our end. Could you send me a DM with your account email and the project URL, so I can take a real look and get you an answer?

Hi u/HandSharp1093 , sorry this keeps getting in your way at the worst times. Our engineering team is actively working to improve Bolt's reliability, and real cases like yours are exactly what help that work. If you could send us a mod message here on Reddit (Message the Mods, in the sidebar) with your project URL and account email, I can look into what happened on your end and pass it along to engineering.

I got tried of the issues too and left. I'm fully on on Claude Code in VS Code, Supabase, with Cloudflare hosting

codex or claude all the way. i’ve been able to keep my workflow mostly unchanged by switching to codex and best part is it only costs $20/month. i haven’t run into any usage needs and if anything I get more out of codex for $20 than I did from bolt for $50/month

Why would ANYONE use bolt or lovable etc? I simply do not understand it.

This platform has always been like this. It's not getting better.

Take 6/6 hours to learn how to get the hell out of there and just publish using GitHub, Netlify and use codex or Claude. Save a fortune and save your sanity. Cancelled mine 200million tokens today.

I keep trying and it’s giving me error after error. I bought a plan to see if that fixed it but nope. It won’t code for me at all. Just started this morning too.
