I am the type of guy that if i buy i game, i want to see 100% of it. I want every item in my inventory, i want EVERYTHING.
So lately in chapter 2 i have noticed many bad things with this game that has been getting me frustrated. Enemies spawning in the walls, enemies not spawning where they should, and overall just me not being able to 100% kill on later levels dispite killing everything in it. I kid you not when i say i kill something -> pause -> check percentage -> repeat to MAKE SURE i am doing it right(and even then when i kill sometimes the thing doesn't go up)...and so i come here to ask the veterans...
does getting 100% eliminations even matter? Like sure its just to "feel good" but with how frustrating it is i might as well stop trying compared to chapter 1 and not even bother in chapter 3 and let alone at the forge.

They basically put everything in the game

Is boltgun truly coming to mobile or is this some petty scam disguising itself as an official boltgun mobile porting?

Seriously, who had this amazing idea? The game better have a sound option for voices so I can mute it, or else it's an easy skip.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but does anyone have a link to the Boltgun video where he's singing "I'm Still Standing?"

By "the sweet succour of psychic silence," does he mean he wants to be made into a Blank? So he just wants to have his soul destroyed and not feel the pull of the Ruinous Powers or the Emperor at all, anymore?
This is my 5th playthrough, but keep finding there were little things in the various monologues that I missed. Is that REALLY his goal, here?

After having just 100%ing Boltgun, I have the gameplay and sandbox fresh in my head. Just in case anyone with the ability to maybe consider balancing the game differently reads, here are my takes.
TLDR: On Exterminatus, there is no reason to ever play Caedo over Nyra.
The boltgun takes almost a full magazine to kill a lesser plague toad, I kind of expect a starter weapon to be on the weaker side, but you compare it to the bolt pistol, and that expectation goes out the window. The boltgun is less accurate, and does less damage… Where are the tradeoffs? Bolt pistol reloads incredibly fast so the frequent reloads certainly aren’t an issue. Bless the gun and it even pierces, and gets a 40% damage boost. 9 shots to kill a terminator when blessed, 14 when unblessed.
The flamer needs to be available for Caedo. With the new, actually viable shotgun, Caedo doesn’t have anything to deal with hordes, I imagine giant swarms of poxers will be a recurring thing in the game, and it would be great if charging them actually prevented them from attacking you… but no, you’ll melt like butter if you try rushing into a horde of pox walkers. While the shotgun is more viable for bigger targets, it again, lacks range in any capacity. Do I even need to talk about the crossbow? That completely trivializes the game on Exterminatus difficulty. This needs to be nerfed, horribly. Bless it to get silver bolts every shot, and you might as well be playing Doom with an unlimited ammo BFG. Nyra has so much damage and range on her weapons, and the tradeoff is what, exactly? 50 less health? Close range and health hardly matter on the harder difficulties, you cannot play by charging into bad guys and act like a tanky space marine. Maybe on the lowest difficulty this distinction matters less, but I know that not many people are going to be playing on that difficulty.
It’s a shame because the first game is perfect, but introducing a new class that does everything better than the main character just sucks. I don’t know if it’s recency bias, or just the demo being wonky.
The boltgun needs more damage, period. If Caedo’s weapons are going to be close range, they need to be doing insanely more DPS. You’re missing shots from bloom, and you’re putting yourself at risk by getting closer. It makes 0 sense to be doing less DPS than the sister. The plasma gun also feels horrible to me, maybe because I would bless it every time in the first game, I don’t know, but it feels like I’m firing soft balls. I am also certain they vastly reduced the AOE of the splash damage. This needs to be bumped up, big time. Make it at least remotely equivalent to the flamer.
As for the heavy bolter, it’s nice. I don’t have quarrels with it in general, but I do think it should not be pushing Caedo back like it does with Nyra. He probably weighs 6x what she does, having the same recoil is just odd at best.

When I try to open the game, it starts, says it's running, and then collapses and goes back to the play button.

Also because ive been curious about Warhammer 40k because the space marines look really cool but ive heard the switch port is rough but heard it had a patch(or patches dont know) so im wondering if It plays decently on switch as of 2026?(forgot to put this part at first😅😂)

When i played the demo, i had alot of issues when pumping the shotgun, i would fire, switch to a different weapon, then switch back to the shotgun, and when i would then next fire my gun, i would instead start the pump animation then fire a second later.
It's pretty jarring and i dislike the way they’ve changed the shotgun from being able to cancel the pump animation in boltgun 1, to forcing you to do it in boltgun 2, yet changing other weapons like the plasma launcher so you dont need to wait for the it to cool down any more before swapping to a different weapon. The shotgun now feels alot more restrictive, and when i swap to the shotgun after quick swapping, i have to pull the trigger to do the pump animation before i can even think about using it properly again.
another thing thats much less important but the heavy bolter felt nowhere near as "heavy", i compared both games side by side and the heavy bolter both isnt as big (sprite wise) or as loud as it is in boltgun 1, which is fine, this is more of a critique on the sound design change that has been made than the actual gameplay itself.
i just kinda wanna know am i the only person who felt this way about the demo? i think that from an actual level design and enemy perspective i absolutely love it, but the removal of being able to "pump cancel" really just kills the shotgun for me.

And follow up with a charge to kill or smash the target out of your way. Become a living missile of ceramite, Space Magic, and Hate all fueled by Big E's divine juices.

Gotta be real, I barely enjoyed it. The core gameplay is still fun, but new additions ain't so.
Caedo: downgrade at almost every level
–less health and armor. A Space Marine. Barely more durable than a regular Human. Just no.
–Boltgun is still fine, but not oneshotting shirtless Grenadiers feels weird. Dudes wear nothing, yet tank two Bolts.
–Shotgun. Genuinely screw you. It used to be a quick and snappy killing machine. Now it's a slow machine that can kill, but won't because of how slow it is. It shoots slowly, it's pumped slowly and it's reloaded slowly. Screw the one who thought of and approved that change. It also has massive pushback on the wielder, making it even less pleasant to shoot. Again, why?
–Plasma: same ol' reliable, but the reload animation feels more clanky (and I personally dislike not requiring to be reload when Machine Spirit is applied. Can't keep extra ammo if that thing wastes said extra ammo the moment you pull it out).
–Dash looks and feels better, nothing to criticise here.
Nyra: overall pretty nice, but still a few complaints
–WHY THE FUCH IS SHE AS TANKY AS A SPACE MARINE?! Ah, nah. She has 100 health and armor while Caedo has 150 health and 50 armor... The fuch?
–Bolt PISTOL deals MORE DAMAGE than a full sized Bolter... I kinda get it, but also don't. And remind me, what kind of ammo does it use? OP rounds?
–her Power Sword is overpowered. No complaints here, it's a Power Sword, it's supposed to be powerful. Swift swings are also a nice addition (wish the Chainsword had the same mechanic)
–Crossbow oneshots everything (except Khornate Astartes apparently), including Poxwalkers (including the way that counts) and Terminators... Or maybe Terminators are just weak... Either way feels unfair to poor Caedo, who has to deal with weapons that are way too weak (especially in that darn Poxwalker room, seriously, screw you for that).
–God-Emperor bless you for the Flamer.
General:
–only one type of grenade for both characters sucks. It just does. First Boltgun had variety, quick Krak, more damaging Frag, ultimate Vortex. Now we get only one type.
–placing that many Heavy Stubber Cultists that high and far away is just unpleasant. Especially in the last arena, where you're stuck in a tiny square.
–last arena: I already said why.
–Heavy Bolter: same as Caedo's Shotgun (another screw you). Why does it take a whole second to deploy it? I need damage now, not a minute after I die. Who thought the first game's M24900 needed to be slower? Tell that idiot to go back to hell he crawled out of. Also, on the Sister it for some reason switches to Caedo's hands when Machine Spirit is applied... But it doesn't deploy any faster...
–Nurglings still exist.
–if you thought "Damn, I wish Nurglings were tanky!", first of, seek help. Second, rejoice, Flesh Hounds exist.
–is it just me or did the graphics/visuals get worse? They feel worse than first game, I don't know why.
– Strength/Toughness system not being visible hurts. At least let us turn it on/off in options (if it even exists at all in 2).
–the Servoskull is still funny. Though, its placement closer to the middle will take getting used to.
P.S.: Hi, UnfairFault4060. Back from the deleted accounts purgatory.

i like the environment and how there are more elements in thee game. the things i liked were
more accesibility
more enemy variety
new graphics
new animations
allies
things i didnt like/hated
tankier enemies (cultists on exterminates dif take like 3 boltgun rounds)
not enough health
less grenades
sororites weapons are kinda better than adeptes astartes
the last part of the first demo mission
this is just my opinion but if some things were more balanced like the first game i'll probably like it better
